Hey everyone, what would you like to know about me?
I’m Tarun and a travel-enthusiast, football-mad father of two wonderful girls, a pain in the butt hubby, travel blogger, and a graphic T-shirt designer. Welcome to Travel Clans! A blog that provides advice for families that like to travel.
My Story
As a single person or a couple planning a holiday tends to be a straightforward process. Based on your requirements for selecting a destination, finding appropriate modes of transportation and affordable accommodation is effortless. Those days for me are now a thing of the past as I have an infant and a preschooler toddler and 6-year-old child(they grow up so fast) choosing a destination, the hotel and the mode of travel depended on the ease of traveling with children, and I hadn’t even started to consider the daily activities to keep them busy while we were there.
Why do I do this?
My wife and I used to spend hours, days and even sometimes weeks researching multiple travel and hotel comparison websites when planning a trip.
We never found one that had all or enough information to make say “Yup! This is the one!“
We kept jumping between sites and eventually went down numerous rabbit holes to eventually give up!
After a week or two, we start the entire process all over again. Honestly, we started planning our holidays, six months in advance!!! YIKES!
Like us, there are many other parents - perhaps you are one of them - looking for the best family holiday destinations, family-friendly hotels or things to do with the kids while on vacation in a particular city - and coming up short.
Perhaps they (or you) are frustrated and confused with the information that is out there.
I believe if my travel experiences and research can help make someone’s life easier, I see why I shouldn’t share it. There is enough hate in this world, it’s time we spread some good in the world.
