Aug 22, 2023 · Maria HirschWe stayed at the captains quarters for a bachelorette party, and it was fine! When booking here you have to remember that this is fire island, so you can’t expect luxury. The beds are not comfortable and rather small. It was clean, and perfect for our group! We loved that for a small fee we had groceries and alcohol waiting for us upon arrival. It was quiet, spacious, we had a full kitchen and a private back patio! I would recommend for a group looking for a getaway on a budget.
Feb 09, 2023 · Veronica KellyWe had a great weekend at the Blue Waters Hotel. The room was clean and the staff were very accommodating - went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The outdoor deck was a beautiful spot to have a glass of wine, and read a book. Breakfast (served on the deck) was fabulous. So many choices and everything was delicious. We were provided with beach towels and chairs which made packing for the weekend much easier. The location was perfect - a very short walk from the ferry and on the main path of restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend the Blue Waters Hotel if you are planning a trip to Ocean Beach!
Jul 26, 2017 · Andrea BalsamoHad a great stay at Blue Waters. Available beach chairs n umbrellas super convenient. Free hot breakfast. Small rooms but that's all of Fire Island. Come try it, in heart of downtown, and short walk from ferry
Jun 12, 2022 · Johan ChabrelThis place is taking advantage of people wanting to visit fire island. I was misled and lied to by Elaine and other staff members at the hotel while booking a weekend at there Beach House from having extra beds available to not having adequate dishware and silverware to support not even 4-6 people. They weren’t accommodating at all they wouldn’t except anything but cash for the $3500 bill. We were a couple hundred dollars short they wouldn’t even let us put it on the credit card. The only thing they allowed to put on the credit card was the thousand dollar security deposit for a service dog that we had with us.To top it all off after all the problems we had they ended up keeping $150 because there was some dog hair on one of the flat sheets. This place is a joke stay elsewhere save yourself the aggravation!!!!
