Monte Irvin Orange Park Reviews
The park is quite large, it has a small lake, a play area for children from 2 years old and up. The only thing I didn't like was the smell of marijuana at times from people who sat in the picnic area to smoke. I didn't find it pleasant because there are quite a few small children.
May 02, 2024 · Karly GutierrezThe Park is very nice....the upkeep not so much. Especially the playground is equipment. I Have emailed, call and attend a council townhall all since last year. I've been begging since March 2021 for the Merry-go-round to repaired. Apparently they don't care about our children getting hurt. The porter potty has been tossed over for the last few weeks. And the mat has holes all in it.
Jun 12, 2023 · Danna DennisAbout 2 weeks ago while in the park with other parents and other people watching our children practice football, there was a loud noise and before anyone could tell where it was coming from, a hugh section of a tree came crashing down in a clearing that we usually sat under. Thank God everyone sat in the shade outside of the trees that day.
Aug 18, 2023 · Charlene COX-SHARIFFI had a pleasant experiance at this park today. The park was clean, with an appropriate amount of trash cans and benches. The park spacious area to congregate and a small serene body of water where i believe i witnessed a lone Hawk at rest. The passersby were polite and friendly. I would enjoy returning to this park.
Sep 10, 2023 · Anthony HunterPleasant for a leisurely walk. It's not a fancy park with lots of flowers, but it's very green, with a lot of grassy lawn and large trees that provide shade. There's a roomy, concrete path to make a circular walk, and we saw many squirrels and birds on the lawn, as well as several ducks a family of geese - with little, yellow goslings! The pond with the fountain is pretty and there are lots of nice park benches to sit on and enjoy the view. Also, there is a large, dedicated play area for children, and there were many of them; playing, screaming and running around like kids should be able to do. Since this is a contained area, it was pleasant for those who don't have kids and prefer to enjoy the park in peace and quiet. Definitely a nice place to visit. There were no picnic tables (that we saw) but I could see spreading a blanket on the lawn and having a picnic. Just watch out for the goose poop - where there are geese there is sure to be poop!
