The drive typically takes approximately an hour, depending on traffic, making it a feasible day trip for urban dwellers. The park's suburban setting usually means ample, often free, parking is available near trailheads, alleviating the common urban stress of finding a parking spot. The main entrance at Laurel Lane, off Cedar Drive East, is noted as the most accessible entry point for visitors.
While direct subway lines do not reach Briarcliff Manor, the Metro-North Railroad provides a convenient public transit option. Pocantico Park Reviews
Very relaxing trail. The only thing was the lil flies in your face that was a bit annoying.
Jul 31, 2024 · suleika ArjonaHad a great day here. Interesting ruined buildings here as well and lake is awesome
Aug 06, 2022 · RichiefromtheyoI absolutely love this trail and take my dogs for hikes on it all the time! However lately there's been more and more glass and garbage all over the trail I called to see if they can try to start doing something about it since it's very dangerous and bad For the environment but I've gotten no callback and seen no change. It's very disappointing since this is such a beautiful trail and if people would stop drinking and breaking bottles here that would be fantastic.
Aug 04, 2022 · Jess SoaveGorgeous fall colors, quiet, secluded, easy parking, dog friendly, we even saw a deer! A little more info on different trails and views would have been helpful, or a map. Instead of just seeing a sign telling us all dogs must be leashed! Still, worth a stroll, very romantic.
