When traveling to a new country, it is always handy to know the local language. If you are like me and have your holiday destinations planned out a year in advance, why not take the time and learn the local language. Not only does it improve the experience of your holiday but will help you build friendships with the people you meet there.

With Rocket Languages, you can learn Spanish, Russian, French, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Italian, Hindi, Arabic, German, Chinese, English, and American Sign Language.

Have fun and all the best!

  1. Hey Tarun! Is this really free? I have been trying to learn American Sign Language for YEARS! That would be so awesome. I’m going to sign up and give it a try. But still wondering if it’s a free trial first, then you have to pay monthly? Yearly?  Have you learnt a new language or in the process? I would love to know.

  2. I completely agree that it is far more enjoyable to visit a foreign country if you can speak at least some of the language.

In fact, I  do not like to visit any country unless I have at least some basic words in that language, and the nationals of that country do appreciate that you are making an effort - I have noticed that many of them are far more helpful if you do attempt to speak their language.

I am reasonably fluent in French and Italian, but I really do need to make more of an effort with Spanish, so I very much like the sound of Rocket languages, and  I am very tempted to sign up for their Spanish course.

Very many thanks for informing us about Rocket languages.

    Chrissie 🙂

  3. I love languages and i wish I could speak more.

However, I do speak German, this is my Mother tongue, and I speak English, being married for 18 years and living in Canada.

I spoke already, School English, when I met my husband but I also can confirm that learning a language completely is always best when living in the country of origin.

I know, we can’t or won’t do this all the time, however, having a good language learning platform is essential to the base of any language.

I will try out Rocket Language and will take the offer for the Spanish lessons.

    Thank you for sharing 🙂
