Located adjacent to the marina, this open space and conservancy is a marvelous place to take a leisurely hike and take in a bit of nature. It has a long path that mostly parallels the water, and one can occasionally see some wildlife. I was rather disappointed that on the day of my visit, there was a log barricading the entrance to the conservancy at the entrance by the playground, but at least was able to take in the part on the other side by the marina. It was highly utilized by people walking, or in some cases, chasing their dogs, as recklessness appeared to be custom rather than the exception. Pretty much along the way on both sides there are numerous signs warning of the danger of swimming in this area. It's obvious to see why. - Burt Shoobs
