Brookwood Hall Park Reviews
I love this little area for my kids. Often times though, it is very packed, the playground I mean. But it has enough space for everyone, toddler and adult alike. From its floor structure, to swings, slides, balance beams and whatever that spinning thing is called, its a child's delight. There are seating areas around the playground and across from it is a pre k I think, and it allows access to their small playground as well, as long as it is not during school hours. The grounds itself are beautiful, You have the ability to walk around, see nature and enjoy other people. Its one of the cleanest parks I have seen, with the exception of the Geese feces in the grassier areas. It has a parking lot, tennis courts, vending machine for soda or water as well. If you walk further in, you will see a large Gazebo where you can sit and take pics if you like. The pond is beautiful, and you see great wildlife there. This is a great area to bring kids....OOHHHH but wait there is more, there are sections further in, which you can ... wait for it... barbecue. Yes, you can Barbecue at designated spots there. Give it a try.
May 13, 2025 · Ivan TorresSmall park. Not sure why there are "No dogs allowed" signs all over the area but there are plenty of people walking their dogs. Portable toilet / Restrooms seems to be maintained well, it is clean compared to other parks. They have excellent Playground for kids. Picnic benches are situated around the vicinity. Watch where you walk because there are a LOT of duck poop especially close to the lake/pond.
Jun 03, 2023 · Mark JWe love this park!! We also enjoy the ball fields here where my kids play and the lake is nice to walk around. They have done some nice renovations here which have made for a great place to visit.
Mar 30, 2025 · Tracey MikuckiSmall free Christmas light show. It's only open a couple of days a week, maybe check the Town of Islip website for more information. Merry Christmas 🎅
Dec 20, 2024 · Charles LPretty park with a beautiful playground and beautiful water with tons of wildlife about. Cannot walk around water, but you can walk a nice distance. The restrooms had been locked. So we had to leave sooner rather than later.
