Crystal Springs Resort Reviews
We had a great time at Crystal Springs Resort in New York. The suite on the Lobby floor was spacious and comfortable, and the fireplace in the room was a big hit with our three kids. My wife did the mud treatment at the spa and really enjoyed it. The pool was great, and the food around the resort had a lot of variety and tasted good. We were there for a wedding, and the food spread at the reception was honestly one of the best we’ve seen. Everything felt easy and well put together.
May 22, 2025 · Matthew HandWe just had easter brunch. For the money paid for the emerald room I would not go back. The steak, chicken. vegetable and pasta on the hot table were just bad. I never tried the fish. Vegetables were over cooked. Steak and chicken were tough. The pasta was pure mush. Eggs Benedict was on point as well as the ham and lamb, tender and nice. Cold station was nicely done along with the seafood station. The chocolate fondue was bad. Each chocolate sauce, white and dark was broken and not emulsified, clumpy and oily. No one ate it. I told the waiter but nothing was done. Drinks were pricey. asked for a bloody marie came out of a bottle.... 20 bucks for the drink ....make the mix! There was a ton of staff but they were standing around I had to ask 3 times for dishes to be removed.I used to go to crystal springs with the BMW events. That was ages ago. They were excellent. Not anymore. Not worth it.

Apr 24, 2025 · Amir MoharamStayed one night after a corporate event. The breakfast was a huge buffet. Store bought bagels and croissants. Soggy Belgian waffles. Grease soaked bacon and mushy potato wedges. Only decent food there was the fresh fruit and smoked salmon.Otherwise really enjoyed the room and friendly staff. There wasn’t an option for food so my rating on service reflects my experience with the buffet. Again, I just slept had breakfast in the morning.
May 20, 2025 · Ben MalmedIt's NOT SAFE here! Stay away!I should've been tipped off what our experience was going to be like when the first event we went to a staff member was openly joking about how incompetent the staff was here. And boy, did we find out. My wife injured her leg at the pool on the slide and the staff did absolutely nothing for her. They wouldn't even let her use the elevator to get out of the area, they made us take the stairs. The lifeguards told us to tell the front desk that we were injured, the front desk told us we should have spoken to the lifeguards and then to speak to management, and management said they didn't believe that she was really injured. (see screenshot). If they really checked the footage of that day, they would see her limping as soon as she left the pool and me having to help her walk.Besides this, the bed was terrible, the worst I've ever "slept" on in a hotel. Our stuff got stuck in TWO different broken safes, the one in our room and the one at the pool (so while my wife was in agony we had to wait HALF AN HOUR for someone to come get our stuff from the locker before we could leave). They also lied to us about how much credit we'd get towards breakfast so we ended up with more charges to our stay than we expected and they also did nothing for this.Absolutely awful. And we've already complained to management and they brushed us off. Don't fall for this scam of a place! Stay away!Edit: Just read the owner response! Their suggestion to rectify this situation is to have us come back and spend more money at the place! What a joke!
