Cypress Hills Playground Reviews
We love to go there 🥰
Aug 01, 2024 · Rajia SultanaI gave this 5 stars because this is my neighborhood and its near my childs school. So there's entimental value attached to this post. It could use a nice old fashioned tire swing if I had to Everytime I've been here with my 12 year old daughter after-school Magnet middle school James Sinnott students and high school students from school of the classics play her. All good kids, since these are both very good schools with smarter than average teens.I never experienced any violent teens here, just good clean horseplay. It can get a bit rowdy in the summer months but it's all fun. It is near the projects which leads people to falsely believe it is a bad area. On the contrary I feel safe in this area, not a noisy part of East New York since its not on a main street..There's a track and field next to this park. Great for jogs and runs I skate here at times and the kids laugh because I look ridiculous in my carebears skates but I love em' I gain composure quickly.
Feb 17, 2023 · Yvette SantiagoExcellent Field to play soccer. However it’s not first come first serve basis instead people who usually come everyday they will come and just take over the field and tell you to go to a corner with your group. If you don’t listen the convo can escalate. People tend to come sit in the stairs and smoke marijuana which is not a good thing when kids are around. Bathrooms closes early. Parking is Available almost always, and the turf is very nice. There should be more parks with soccer turf like this around the neighborhood.
Oct 08, 2020 · Md RahmanI must admit that my high rating is based on the brand new addition to the park...A Track!!! Finally! The baseball grounds have been tidied up as well! No more tripping in potholes running the bases, or for a flyball. Those same grounds double as a soccer field with 2 goals in place, and the opposite side of the park has another baseball homeplate. There are still the basketball courts, handball courts, & the swings n slides n sprinklers for the kiddies, with bathrooms, & new drinking water fountains as well.Happy to see "the hood" has a nice versatile playground. I hope it's appreciated & used in Positive fashion for the betterment of the mind, body & spirit.
