Days Inn by Wyndham Brooklyn Marine Park Introduce
Days Inn by Wyndham Brooklyn Marine Park, located at 1766 E 49th St, Brooklyn, NY 11234, USA, operates as a lodging option in the Brooklyn area. While categorized as a "Scenic Spot" on the platform, it is important to note that this categorization typically implies a direct connection to, or enhancement of, a natural or cultural attraction. In the case of a hotel, this usually means its proximity and accessibility to such locations, rather than being a scenic attraction in itself. This introduction will provide an objective overview based on available information, including direct customer feedback, to inform local users about what to expect from this establishment.
The environment of the Days Inn by Wyndham Brooklyn Marine Park, based on customer reviews, appears to be a point of significant concern. Feedback indicates issues with the cleanliness of the rooms, with one review stating, "Rooms were filthy." This suggests that the hotel's immediate internal environment, specifically guest accommodations, may not consistently meet cleanliness expectations. Furthermore, the external and adjacent environment within the hotel premises, as described by a guest, points to issues with noise and disturbances. A review mentions "the neighboring room was openly smoking pot and blasting music until 3-4 am," which indicates a potentially disruptive atmosphere for guests attempting to rest. This type of disturbance can significantly detract from the peaceful environment typically sought in lodging. While the hotel is situated in Brooklyn, a densely populated borough of New York City, the specific address places it within a residential and commercial area, which might be typical for a budget-friendly hotel in this part of the city. However, the internal environment, as described by past guests, indicates challenges in maintaining a consistently quiet and clean atmosphere for all visitors. The overall impression from direct feedback suggests that the hotel's physical environment, at least as experienced by some guests, is not conducive to a comfortable or relaxing stay. The area surrounding the hotel is primarily a residential and commercial zone within Brooklyn, offering a local urban experience, but the immediate environment within the hotel is crucial for guest satisfaction.
Regarding services, customer feedback highlights significant shortcomings in responsiveness and problem resolution at the Days Inn by Wyndham Brooklyn Marine Park. A particularly troubling account details a guest's attempt to address noise issues, stating, "The guy at the front desk refused to do anything and laughed at me when I asked him to." This directly points to a lack of effective customer service in handling guest complaints and maintaining a comfortable environment. Another review mentions a situation where a guest "paid for an upgrade to my room I did not get the upgraded room that I paid for did not get my money back for the upgrade. I was simply told that the room wasn’t available." This indicates issues with service delivery related to room assignments and potential refund processes, suggesting a lack of accountability or clarity in handling guest transactions. While hotels typically offer standard services like check-in/check-out, room cleaning (though cleanliness was an issue here), and basic front desk assistance, these reviews suggest that the quality and effectiveness of these services, particularly in addressing guest concerns, may be inconsistent or unsatisfactory. The core service of providing a comfortable and reliable lodging experience appears to be impacted by these reported issues. Effective service in a hotel context includes addressing immediate concerns, honoring reservations and upgrades, and ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all guests, aspects that appear to have been problematic based on the provided feedback.
The features of the Days Inn by Wyndham Brooklyn Marine Park, as gleaned from the customer reviews, suggest a basic offering with noted deficiencies. Guests reported issues with fundamental room amenities: "there was pee in the toilet," "there was no Internet," and "no microwave." The "carpet was filthy" also points to a significant lack of upkeep and cleanliness in the rooms' basic features. While a Days Inn by Wyndham property typically offers standard features such as beds, bathrooms, and perhaps basic connectivity, the reported absence of functional internet and microwave, along with severe cleanliness issues, indicates that even these expected features may not be reliably available or properly maintained. The complaint about not receiving an "upgraded room that I paid for" suggests that while upgrades may be offered as a feature, their availability or delivery is not guaranteed. For a "Scenic Spot" category, a hotel's features might typically include amenities that enhance a guest's ability to explore local attractions, such as easy access to public transport or specific services for tourists. However, the provided reviews focus on the core room features, highlighting that basic comforts were either missing or subpar. The external features of the hotel itself, beyond the room interior, are not detailed in the reviews, but the overall impression points to a property where internal upkeep and provision of standard amenities are areas of concern. The presence of a phone number (347) 352-9582 and a mobile number (+1 347-352-9582) indicates a standard communication channel for inquiries and reservations, which is a basic feature of any lodging establishment.
For promotional information, an objective presentation based on the provided reviews would necessitate a cautious approach. While a hotel typically promotes its proximity to "Scenic Spots" and its amenities, the direct customer feedback indicates severe challenges in fundamental aspects of guest experience that would overshadow such promotional efforts. If one were to consider its promotional potential solely based on its address in Brooklyn, it would be positioned as a budget lodging option in the Marine Park area, offering access to local Brooklyn attractions such as Marine Park, Floyd Bennett Field, or possibly Coney Island, depending on transportation links. However, it is crucial to present this information alongside the significant reported issues. Therefore, any "promotional" material, to be objective, would have to acknowledge the extremely negative customer experiences regarding cleanliness, noise, and unresponsive service. For local users, the primary information to convey would be the hotel's location and its affiliation with the Days Inn by Wyndham brand (implying a certain standard, which appears not to have been met in these instances). However, the prevailing customer sentiment, as expressed in the reviews ("Avoid at all costs. Seriously, I would have been happier sleeping on the street. A horrible horrible experience. Google should remove this hotel as an option"), is a strong counter-narrative to any positive promotional claims. Therefore, objective promotional information would largely consist of stating its existence and address, while strongly suggesting potential guests consult recent and varied reviews before booking, or to use the provided phone numbers (347) 352-9582 or +1 347-352-9582 for direct inquiries, keeping in mind the reported service issues.

Avoid at all costs. Seriously, I would have been happier sleeping on the street. Rooms were filthy. The neighboring room was openly smoking pot and blasting music until 3-4 am. Mar 27, 2025 · sandryne senatExcellent service The only problem I have is the fact there was too many gnats flying around in a lobby it was a lot in bugs flying around but the rooms are definitely clean and perfect!
May 20, 2025 · Jerrold BanksI have been traveled for decades and stayed at countless hotels so far this one is my worst stay.1) The Lobby (Which is almost none existent), small and poorly clean with strong smelling irritable cleaning spray. There is only one outdated couch that seats 3 to 4 people.2) The staff - The receptionist (a lady) who checked us in was very rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming.3) The breakfast was okay but not as expected. We only got eggs one day out of our 4 nights of stay. Some of the staff would skip you to go make their waffles. in two occasions, they would not let me use the waffle maker first when I was ahead of them.
Jan 14, 2025 · NATACHA “CHACHA” ETIENNEWe had a reservation but still had a late arrival. We had to wait at our midnight check in for the "cleaning staff" to finish cleaning. There was water damage on the ceilings & walls, black mold in the corners of the room, splintered furniture. I have never stayed in a room like this!
