MacEachron Park Introduce
MacEachron Park, nestled at 44 W Main St, Hastings-On-Hudson, NY 10706, is truly a "Scenic Spot" that captures the essence of a tranquil riverside escape combined with convenient recreational opportunities. This beloved park, overseen by the Village of Hastings-On-Hudson, serves as a vital community asset, providing residents and visitors alike with a picturesque setting for leisure, appreciation of nature, and various outdoor activities. Its appeal as a scenic spot lies not just in its inherent beauty but also in the panoramic vistas it offers, making it a popular destination for those seeking a peaceful moment by the Hudson River.
The environment of MacEachron Park is its most striking feature. Situated directly along the eastern bank of the Hudson River, the park offers unobstructed and "amazing views of the NY and The New Tap Bridge," as eloquently put by a reviewer, referring to the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge. The vast expanse of the Hudson River, with its ever-changing light and the distant silhouette of the New York City skyline, creates a truly captivating backdrop. The park includes a "quaint beach" area, providing direct access to the river's edge, which adds to its charm and recreational versatility. The presence of "a couple park benches near by" along the beach allows visitors to comfortably soak in the scenery. The overall ambiance is one of serenity and natural beauty, providing a welcome respite from the urban hustle. The park's location, described as a "little gem ten mins from Yonkers," highlights its accessibility for residents of neighboring communities, while still maintaining a distinct, peaceful village atmosphere. The environment is also notably dog-friendly, as positive customer feedback indicates, creating a welcoming atmosphere for pet owners and their companions.
As a "Scenic Spot," MacEachron Park primarily offers services centered around passive and active recreation, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in its natural beauty and enjoy outdoor leisure. While there are no direct goods for sale within the park itself in a traditional retail sense, the services provided enhance the visitor experience. These include access to:

MacEachron Park Reviews
I adore this little gem ten mins from Yonkers. There’s an indoor tennis facility to the left and a quaint beach with a couple park benches ear by. There’s something special about this park with amazing views of the NY and The New Tap Bridge. I lost my choc lab about a year ago and this is one of my favorite pics of him on the beach there. I’ve always met such nice people and dogs in this area.
