Motel 6 Bethel, CT - Danbury Reviews
Bathroom had broken shower head, broken faucet, otherwise clean. Beds were comfortable. Unfortunately ceiling/upstairs was extremely noisy
May 25, 2025 · Carrie BovaDon't stay at this Motel 6My wife and I road trip alot. And we stay at a bunch of Motel 6.This was hands down the 2nd worst Motel 6 we have ever stayed at. ( Thee 1st was in OKC ).The hallway smelled hard core like cigarettes and weed. Our room had a plastic bag tied over the smoke alarm. And that had been there a long time! After a long road trip my wife sat down on the toilet. The entire seat and lid were STICKY! No idea what it was but it was GROSS! IMMEDIATELY had to shower.Missing light fixtures. The pillow cases and towels were dirty. The shower valve was broken, piss on the floor, sink was dirty !Don't stay here!
May 14, 2025 · Scuba SteveI really do not like to write bad reviews; however, I feel it is necessary. The hallway to my room on the 2nd floor had a strong smell of urine (strong is an understatement). There was also litter in the hallway and stains. The room itself had sticky floors. My husband and I tried to clean it ourselves and the paper towels we had came up black over and over. By the 2nd night the smell seeped into our room. I know...we should have changed hotels...but we didn't. Tub drain did not drain well either. Just gross. Sorry to have to write this but it is true. Maybe it was just our weekend and not typical but hopefully the people will see this and change things. There is no reason for this. It wasn't so cheap to stay there that they can't afford a good cleaning.
Oct 21, 2024 · Fran WongFront desk guy wasn’t friendly at all. I asked if the did breakfast and he just said go across the street. Very unprofessional!!! The room was remodeled nice but ceiling light was missing, smoke detector is hanging from ceiling and worst of all the AC doesn’t work at all. Blows warm air. Bathroom has no amenities except towels, no soap, no shampoo, no hair dryer, no tissues. Also the room Vinyl flooring is very slippery. Also people in parking lot drinking and kind of freaky towards us when we got out of our vehicle with our bags. It almost seemed like they want to rob us. I felt very uncomfortable leaving my vehicle in parking lot. Also way too far off the highway we exited because of signs on the highway advertising for this place.
Aug 15, 2024 · Jim HappI was pleasantly surprised, I didn’t expect much but the rooms are updated and nice, the heater works very well, Kimberly at the front desk was super friendly and made the check in process incredibly easy. Definitely worth it for a short stay.
