- Community Engagement Opportunities: While specific events may vary by season, the park serves as a hub for informal community gatherings and provides a setting for local groups (like the Girl Scouts) to contribute through projects (e.g., Tree Guide, Butterfly Garden). Any composting workshops mentioned by the Environmental Commission could also utilize the park for educational purposes, further promoting sustainable practices.

Russell Farms Community Park Reviews
Really nice park with a loop you can walk that I believe is about 1/4 mile. Benches and trees around the edges. Pathway is a bit narrow but for most of the loop it’s easy to go around someone on the grass if needed. It can get busy especially on days where school is out or right when school ends on weekdays.

Dec 18, 2023 · james luskiNice place to bring your children. Also have a petting zoo. Sell fresh fruit and vegetables. Great Big Greenhouse on-premises. Homemade desserts. Apple turnovers muffins and fresh coffee. And much more
Jul 10, 2017 · Maria BeckerVery cute park, in a nice neighborhood. It's medium size ( not the biggest park nor the smallest I have been to) is just perfect for those times where you want to stroll but also have ur kids play on the playground/field (my toddler is at the stage where sometimes she just wants to play, sometimes she just wants to walk around and sometimes she wants both- so this is perfect for those times where she wants both, but time maybe limited. Very clean and well made (safely). However, there were no bathrooms- which isn't necessarily an issue, but just something to keep in mind if bathroom availability is needed.During most of our visits, very friendly dog owners walked around and were kind enough to let the dog interact with toddler.
