Town of Monroe O&R park is a pleasant scenic detour from the off the Orange Heritage Trail. The lakes have an assortment of lake birds like swans, ducks, geese and a blue heron. After leaving park we walked to to commuter parking and back on the Orange Heritage Trail heading back to out car. The walk is 40 to 50 minutes and a excursion.
