The Washington Square Hotel, as a historic boutique establishment, tends to focus on providing a consistently high-quality, authentic experience rather than frequently advertising large-scale, short-term promotions like chain hotels. However, they do offer opportunities for guests to secure better rates or enhance their stay. It's always advisable to check their official website directly or call their reservations line for the most current and applicable offers.
Based on typical practices for hotels of its caliber and location, potential promotions or ways to find special offers might include:
- Advance Purchase Rates: Often, booking well in advance can secure a slightly lower rate, though these bookings might be non-refundable.
- Stay Longer and Save: Hotels frequently offer discounted nightly rates for extended stays (e.g., booking 3 or more nights). This can be particularly appealing for New Yorkers needing temporary accommodation for more than just a quick overnight.
- Seasonal Packages: While not always prominently advertised, the hotel may have special packages tied to specific seasons or local events, such as holiday specials or packages including local attraction tickets.
- Direct Booking Benefits: Many independent hotels incentivize booking directly through their website or phone line. This can sometimes unlock exclusive rates, complimentary upgrades (subject to availability), or added perks not found on third-party booking sites.
- AAA/AARP Discounts: For eligible members, standard discounts might be available. It's always worth inquiring if you hold one of these memberships.
- Small Business or Corporate Rates: If you are traveling for business, especially if your company frequently sends employees to New York, it's worth asking if they have corporate rates.
The best way to uncover any current special offers is to visit the Washington Square Hotel's official website or contact their reservations team directly at the phone numbers provided. They can provide the most accurate and up-to-date information on any available deals that align with your travel dates and needs.

Washington Square Hotel Reviews
First time in Greenwich Village and first time staying at this hotel. Everyone was very kind and hotel was really cute and cozy! Only complaint would be that my room was never replenished with soap or lotions unless they don’t normally do that which wasn’t a big deal since I brought my own. Would have been nice though for what I paid! But everything was great and highly recommend if in the area!
May 23, 2025 · Erin RosenThis is a boutique hotel in a central yet quiet location. Boutique in NYC means very tiny, with it unique charm and history. The petit elevator services 4-5 floors, so once in a while you may have to wait. Decor and vibes are velvety, cozy, no fluff and showiness. I stayed there for 6 days and the two main staffers were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There was probably two trainees, and they forgot every single request I gave them. Make sure you talk to the main people if you have something important you need.Rooms were small and tightly packed, but also with everything you need and thoughtfully planned so that every space has a function without getting in the way of another. The location is absolutely outstanding. Its adjacent to Washington square park, so its close to the park without the traffic and sounds impacting the building. within a 1 block radius, you can get amazing, and I mean AMAZING Coffee, tapas, bar, hair salon, grocery store, and multiple drug stores. My stay included the weekend, and I was not woken up by any street noise, partying outside or partying in the hotel.
May 21, 2025 · Mari CThis historic Village Art Deco hotel is hidden away on a quiet Washington Square Park side street; we were greeted by a friendly 'door man', checked in and whisked up the elevator to our room. Smaller, but impeccably clean and well appointed... there was even an umbrella in the closet... We had a lovely lunch with great service in the downstairs North Square restaurant. Take the time to enjoy and appreciate walls and details in hallways and lobby...all so well maintained and kept up...a true gem, and we hope to return soon!
May 23, 2025 · Ole RetlevA lovely hotel with a classic look. The room was small, but sufficient for a short trip. The bathroom was well stocked with supplies. The front desk staff was mostly friendly, as were the doormen. The location was perfect! One the corner of Washington Square Park - magical!
May 22, 2025 · Eliezer ShoreWhat a wonderful hotel! Comfortable beds, deco decor, everything tasteful. This was a perfect place to stay at a great location - Washington Square Park is across the street! Don't miss out on the awesome restaurant at the bottom of the stairs! I'd happily stay here again.
