Yanticaw Park Reviews
Beautiful, peaceful and quiet. This park is wheelchair accessible. Pet friendly. Portable toilets on site. I highly recommend this park! This location has a soccer field as well as a baseball field. Walking path is clean!
Oct 20, 2023 · AJ SupernovaThis park was beautiful and the playground had something for both my kids (6yo and 2 yo) I loved the baby swings that were attached to a regular swing so you could hang and relax with your LO while pushing them.
May 02, 2025 · Nikki CheyneAwesome big playground that my 3 year old absolutely loved. Though he definitely is a bit of a dare devil there is a nice area for younger kids as well. All fenced in so don't have to worry and we'll maintained with public restrooms. Parking isn't the best and so we had to find parking on centre street near Nutley diner. The parking lot next to it is private and will get your car towed so be careful.
Aug 29, 2021 · Jeremy WilliamsYanticaw Park is the largest and by far, the most athletically inclined of what I like to refer as the "String of Six Parks" in Nutley (north to south: Kingsland, Memorial 3, 2, and 1, Yanticaw, and Booth). Clocking in at just under 30 acres, and bordered by Chestnut Street on the north, Centre Street on the south, and Passaic Avenue on the east, its' keynote features are a huge basketball court and two ballfields. There also are amply shaded walking paths and numerous benches for relaxing upon. The Cocchiola Playground is on the south (Centre Street) side of the park.
Sep 07, 2023 · Burt ShoobsIt's a lovely park for sure. However, one must still be mindful of the environment. Most of the time, it's clean and very well kept. But in recent visits, I've found it to often have broken glass and other hazardous items in the direct area where children are. Be sure to always keep an eye on your little ones and for the ones who can understand. Be sure to explain what things to be mindful of. Overall, it's one of our favorite parks. I'm the area. The cushioned ground area is a huge perk.
