33 Hotel New York City Seaport Reviews
The staff was friendly and accommodating, which I truly appreciated. However, the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. There was visible lipstick on the comforter, which immediately made me question whether the bedding had been properly changed. The walls and glass surfaces had noticeable streaks, and the carpet appeared dirty and clearly hadn't been vacuumed. For the price, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness. The lack of attention to basic housekeeping details made the stay less comfortable than it could have been.
May 27, 2025 · Joe BalestrinoThe rooms are nice, the staff is nice and pleasant. Why a 6 on arrival experience?...the gentleman that checked us in was nice and pleasant, but he didn't take the time to review our actual reservation and advise on the additional perks of our particular reservation. In addition he appeared to make little attempt to get us in a room early or upgrade us per the "VIP Status" emails that I received. On a positive note, he did deliver our rooms keys to us in the Bar area while we were waiting. The bell captain was efficient and personable and our bags were waiting for us in the room. Our restaurant experience was less than stellar. Again, the staff was nice and pleasant, but we walked out of the restaurant after waiting for our breakfast for over 50 minutes to catch a flight. As former owner/operator of multiple restaurants, they were clearly understaffed and undertrained.Overall value, below average for a $550 all in for a standard size room (front street view) with premium finishes. Convenience to the Pier 17 concert venue and cleanliness helps this rating tremendously.
May 26, 2025 · Noah LewingerWe had an incredible pet friendly experience for a long weekend with our Golden Retriever in the Seaport. Great location with good access to the subway. The staff were all super helpful, friendly and accommodating. Tommy and Chris provided the absolute best bell service. The bar was very relaxing and had wonderful cocktails with superb bar staff which we enjoyed before dinner every evening. Our front street king was very clean with great amenities and good storage. We can't say enough great things about this hotel. Can't wait to go back!
Jan 18, 2025 · Jodi CGreat hotel. Fantastic room with view thanks to wonderful staff, especially Michelle on reception and Chris the concierge . So helpful! View from our room was amazing 👏 🤩 staff in the breakfast room were lovely, too. However, I would recommend a 3rd person to help out . 2 staff wasn't enough at busy times.
Apr 29, 2025 · Sheenagh Honanperfect spot to stay in nyc for work or leisure. in a quiet part of fidi, 6 mins walk from fulton st station, you look out onto a quiet street (very few cars). staff is very friendly and helpful (e.g. opening doors, suggesting i grab an umbrella for later that day, giving me tips on how to create a spa experience in the shower). the rooms were incredibly comfortable with gorgeous furniture and great bedding. molton brown in the showers. top notch across the board.
