For us locals, reaching Boro Field is generally a breeze. The presence of ample on-site parking minimizes any hassle upon arrival, allowing for quick access to the various fields and amenities. While direct public transportation might not stop right at the entrance, the field's central location within Lincoln Park means it’s often within a comfortable walking or biking distance for many families in the area. Furthermore, Lincoln Park's overall connectivity to major roadways like US Route 202 and proximity to larger highways such as I-80, Route 23, and Route 46 means that Boro Field is a convenient destination for sports teams and visitors coming from across Morris County and beyond. Its accessibility is a significant factor in its popularity and status as a community cornerstone.

As a publicly owned and operated municipal park and recreational facility, Boro Field does not run commercial "promotions" or "special offers" in the way a business might. Its fundamental "offer" to the community is consistent: free and open access to its amenities for all residents and visitors, especially for casual use of the playground and basketball court.
However, for organized events, league play, or exclusive use of the baseball or softball fields, permits are required through the Borough of Lincoln Park Recreation Department. These permits ensure fair scheduling and proper management of the facilities, and they typically involve a nominal administrative fee. For instance, organized athletic events will require a permit.
Additionally, the Lincoln Park Recreation Department frequently hosts free or low-cost community events, youth programs, and seasonal activities at Boro Field and other borough parks. The popular Lincoln Park Farmers Market, for example, is a recurring event at Boro Field that serves as a "special offer" of fresh local produce and community interaction. Residents are highly encouraged to check the official Borough of Lincoln Park website, particularly the Recreation Department's section and their CivicRec portal, for current program listings, event schedules, and any associated fees or registration requirements. Staying informed through these channels is the best way to take advantage of all the activities and opportunities Boro Field presents.
Boro Field is maintained and managed by the Borough of Lincoln Park Recreation Department. For any inquiries regarding the field, its facilities, or to inquire about permits for organized use, the general contact information for the Borough would be most appropriate.

Sep 07, 2024 · NJ Home Maintenance Services LLCIt's an ok park. We went to the playground while visiting the farmers market. The playground was nice and had some challenging climbing areas. The downside was a lack of shade and virtually no benches or seating. It looked like they were all near the sports fields instead.
