This is pretty empty during the Weekdays that We have visited. There are BBQ areas with picnic tables. It's dog friendly. You can even bring your own BBQs to the picnic/grass areas but beware of all of the poop from the visiting geese. There's plenty of parking adjacent to the picnic area. It's next to the beach enclosure and you have to pay for both the beach and parking entrances. The fees are discounted for those who have a park pass/membership.
