Hampton Inn Long Island - Brookhaven Reviews
We priorly stayed in this hotel and let’s just say we experienced most of the same problems. Before I get to the bad, there were several good things including free breakfast, kind workers, and nice gym. Now I will get to the bad things. My first problem was as soon as we checked in and entered our room there was a strong smell of Weed. Luckily I only stayed a night so wasn’t to bad but feel bad for whoever is still in the room #629. My next complaint was the elevators once again being incredibly slow. Another problem we also had last time and this time were the windows. We could hear cars constantly and made it difficult to sleep. Definitely request a room on the other side away from highway. My last thing was the additional charge for parking. I think it’s stupid to have a separate charge for parking just include it in the price. Overall okay.
May 24, 2025 · TristanEverything about this hotel was great except maybe for the bathtub / shower, which I found rather slippery to stand in. My foot did slip at one point, and I had to hold on to the grab bar with one hand as I was bathing. Other than that, the room was very nice, and the bed extremely comfortable. They also had complimentary breakfast with eggs, sausages, oatmeal, cold cereal, bagels, four different selections of juice, and even two waffle irons along with batter. I was there for three nights, and enjoyed my stay.
Mar 21, 2025 · Christopher WassMy friends and I stayed here for a weekend for my birthday because it got good reviews and was near by. When we got in the guy at the front desk was a rude to us and just gave us a weird vibe. We got into our room and it heavily smelled like pot. We asked the guy at the front desk for a new room and he told us that it was not possible because nothing was wrong in the room other than the smell. So we went back up to our room and tried not to argue. We later than went to the pool and it was very disgusting. Had a weird smell and there were stains on the bottom of the pool. On top of that they didn’t supply any towels for us. Eventually we went to bed and got a knock on our door late at night with the same guy saying there was a noise complaint but we were sleeping we were then kicked out in the middle of the night and got no refund. Another lady was also there with her crying baby and got kicked out we both tried to fight to say but they still didn’t care. I do not recommend going to this hotel unless you want to be kicked out
Apr 22, 2025 · rowyn chamberlainWe found a random low cost night on priceline and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The rooms were clean, well stocked, and quality. The indoor pool was fun for a parent with 2 early teens. The game room downstairs was a bonus we hadn't even expected. While you need quarters, it wasn't extravagant. I think games are on long play. Same room has some seats and a large connect4 game. This is a fantastic stay over for families. The fitness room was clean, well-ventilated, and all machines were in working order. If we can find another budget night, we will definitely stay again. The continental breakfast has selections for most grab-and-go guests.
Apr 30, 2025 · Yaki Cahoonpaid almost 700 for 2 nights for the king suite with a jetted tub. Turned it on and mold and sand came flying out the jets that did not let up. We did tell the front desk who claimed the hotel only had one room with a jetted tub (obviously not true) and offered to switch our room. We accepted, got to the new room and the other tub did the same exact thing. Pretty disgusting and disappointed.
