Highland Falls RV Park & Marina Introduce
Welcome to Highland Falls RV Park & Marina, a distinctive destination nestled in the scenic Hudson Valley, specifically in Highland Falls, New York. For New Yorkers looking to escape the city bustle or explore the rich history and natural beauty of the region, this RV park offers a unique blend of convenience and proximity to key attractions. While it presents a more rustic and straightforward RV experience, its prime location on the Hudson River makes it a compelling option for those seeking a getaway with direct access to water activities and historical sites.
Highland Falls RV Park & Marina provides a different kind of RV experience. It's not a sprawling resort with extensive recreational facilities on-site, but rather a practical and functional spot for RVs and a marina for boats. Accessibility to the RV Park is generally good, though local users should be aware of specific routes when driving larger RVs. Reviewers suggest that Route 9W, SR 293, and a portion of Route 6 are suitable for RV travel. However, it's worth noting that Route 218 (Mountain Road) from 9W is posted for a maximum of 5 tons, and there's a bridge from Newburgh on 9W with a 12'10" clearance. Highland Falls RV Park & Marina Reviews
Please read the reviews. If you have no other option, it can work out.Pluses: it’s on the river. It has hookups. The lady was nice.Challenges: Trains run 25 feet from RVs 10+ times a day and night, plus trains run across the river and they’re surprisingly loud. Sites are very narrow, thus RVs are super close where the awning may not fully open. No picnic table. No shower house, despite website claim. Of the ~12 sites, around half half have a view. It’s $100 cash. There’s a bit of trash and junk strewn about.
Jun 07, 2024 · Scott MayWent down to take a look at the old train station and the river. Very Nice, But A lady came out of the station and afterstating my business told me the area was Private Property! Left soon after. Lovely Spot, Lots of History but if your not parking your RV there- You're Not Welcome!

Mar 30, 2023 · Olga Fernandes de Moura LeiteIf you don't mind the trains that pass every hour it's a nice stop with a beautiful view during the day. But be careful on the drive up at night.
