Hotel Indigo - NYC Downtown - Wall Street, an IHG Hotel Reviews
Not the stay I expected — cleanliness and follow-up need improvement.Stayed one night and was disappointed. The room assigned faced directly into another building, offering no privacy. One of the towels had several short coarse hairs on it, which was quite off-putting. Only two tissues were provided. While the front desk and other staffs were friendly, it’s clear that management and housekeeping need better oversight. I sent a follow-up email the next day regarding the cleanliness issue and never received a response (already a week now— which was just as disappointing as the issue itself. There are many similarly priced hotels nearby. I’d recommend considering other options
May 24, 2025 · Morgan NTTerrible!!! Staff very disappointing. Rude service. I was placed in the room next to very loud vent system and no one from the hotel was able to solve the problem, even technician had no idea what he should do with it. Receptionist promised to look in to the problems but she never bothered to get back with any answers. Hotel is not focus on pleasant stay for their guest but only to take more and more money from you. Be prepared to pay for amenities per night even if you are not going to use any of it. When questioned if there are any room available and why the room is so small and dark- literally no daylight- we were told that this is the best room I the entire hotel, but we saw 2 better ones on the same floor….. cleaning has a lot to improve, not done properly and start super early in the morning around 7 am. Amenities should be optional. No one should be forced to pay the fees if they are not using any of it. If the hotel is partnering with city to provide offers this is not reason to charge your customers for it. Many people book attractions way before arriving in the city. It is literally stealing money from people for nothing!Avoid this location at all cost!
May 27, 2025 · Monika HancThe hotel is nice and in a great location, secure access to all floors with guest rooms and a cozy space downstairs to sit if you need to wait for an uber or just take a load off. The rooms are small which isn’t necessarily their fault considering real estate in NYC just is what it is but be warned about sizing. There is nowhere to put your clothes so your suitcase will be in the way your entire stay. Bathrooms are nice! Again, small but got the job done for sure and water was always hot! Amenities available smelled nice! Small ledge below the bathroom mirror helped with putting your toiletries somewhere! Full body mirror on bathroom door which was super nice, and a mini fridge was also in the room! No microwave though btw. Quiet in the area at night which was great for sleep and couldn’t hear anything going on at ground level! The only real complaint I have is the lack of washcloths. We requested washcloths about 5 times throughout our stay ( sorry I don’t want to wash my face the next day with the same wash cloth that washed the behind that was sitting on the MTA ) and one of the overnight staff seemed oddly offended that we kept asking for them? She was only there one night but It was weird ngl. Go ahead and ask for a stack at checkin if you’re like us. Also, room service comes super early so if you aren’t up at around 9 or so, your room won’t have the option of being flipped!Overall a good stay and would stay again. Most everyone was very accommodating.
Apr 20, 2025 · Nash TThe financial district was a great place to stay for a trip to manhattan. Easy subway access anywhere you’d like to go but away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Surprisingly residential area (at least to me) the hotel staff here were very friendly anytime we needed anything. Even helped one of our party with switching a room after a miscommunication with the booking on our end. Make sure you ask them to book you an airport shuttle on your way home as well. The rooms were definitely on the small side, but it’s Manhattan. The queen room was big enough for a couple to share for a long weekend. Very good location not far from subway and plenty of dining and drink options. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again
Mar 20, 2025 · hunter hamesI travel to New York frequently for work and the Indigo is the ONLY hotel I will stay. The vibe is fabulous and the staff is always attentive and friendly. Willie is the most gracious and accommodating manager. Anna is the BEST bartender I’ve experienced in NY so far. And. Jennifer knows my breakfast order before I sit down at the restaurant. You will LOVE it!!
