Hotel (The Mercer) Reviews
One of the best hotels in NYC. Great location. Nice rooms. Wonderful service. Is on the expensive side but is worth the price in my opinion. Employees are very helpful. Were able to clarify some questions i had over the phone before arriving. Check in process was smooth and I checked in late around 8:30pm. Did not have to wait for anything. The room was waiting for ME. been years since last time i stayed here and seems like the quality has remained the same since back then. Always nice to stay here. Great walking distance to shops and restaurants etc.
Apr 26, 2025 · THE GOOD LIFEThe hotel itself is very bland and basic. However, the privacy and level of service makes it worthwhile. And the location, of course. Not much amenities to be considered 5 star in the truest sense but the staff is top notch.
May 31, 2025 · Jennifer WentzoVery impressive spacious room. I was comfortable without feeling like I was in a box. Clean and tidy. Staff was professional and friendly. Quiet nights and a great location. We will return!!
Apr 22, 2025 · Bas SopranoHands down the best hotel in NYC. We love SOHO area so it’s a plus that this hotel is in the heart of SOHO. I have stayed at many spots in the city when traveling for work and this is by far the best. Now I’m spoiled! Quiet, clean, tasteful, very kind staff, beautiful fresh platter waiting for us, and no charge for mini bar snacks?! Truly a gem!
Dec 12, 2024 · Abigail WursterSuper friendly front desk staff. Couldn't be nicer. However, when we checked in at 10.30pm, the room was freezing. So we turned up the a/c to the highest heat and went for dinner. When we returned at midnight, the a/c was blowing out cold air. We were cold all night. There was also a strong smell of cannibas in the corridor outside our room, even though it's supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. The location is good, but for $1100 a night, it's not worth having to sleep in an igloo. We couldn't wait to leave in the morning.
