As a public park operated by NYC Parks, Hunter's Point South Park typically does not offer traditional commercial promotions or special offers in the same way a retail business would. Its value lies in its role as a free, accessible, and high-quality recreational and green space for all New Yorkers. However, the park does offer "promotions" in terms of free access to its amenities and often hosts or is the site of various public events that are free or low-cost.
While there aren't ongoing discounts like "buy one get one free" for park services, locals and visitors can benefit from:
- Free Access to All Park Amenities: The primary "promotion" is the ability to freely use all of the park's incredible features – the playgrounds, fitness equipment, dog run, basketball court, promenade, picnic terraces, and open green spaces – without any admission fee.

- Free Waterfront Access: The park provides free and unrestricted access to stunning waterfront views and the East River, a unique and valuable amenity in a city like New York.
- Cost-Effective Transportation via East River Ferry: While not a direct park promotion, the East River Ferry offers a cost-effective and scenic way to reach the park. The option to purchase a 10-trip pack at $2.90 per trip (compared to $4.50 for a single ride) and the free transfer included with each ticket can be seen as a promotional benefit for regular users or those looking to explore multiple waterfront destinations.
- Community Group Activities: Local community groups or fitness organizations may utilize the park for free or low-cost activities, such as yoga classes, running clubs, or meetups. These are often advertised locally or through social media.
