Inn On The Hudson Reviews
Location of the hotel is fine for the event we attended. It was very close to our destination. The service was okay, the front desk gentleman was professional and checked us in with no issues. He let us know about the snacks which was near the desk in cubbies with the cost. The area was clean and offered us hot coffee that was available in the lobby. The room was small but since we were only staying overnight it was fine. The room could use deep cleaning. The shower head was green so I skipped the shower. The sheets were a little dingy, and there was no comforter which was odd. The refrigerator worked, just keep your items in overnight to get cold. I didn't use the microwave so I'm not sure what it looked like. Overall it is not too bad for a quick weekend. The breakfast comes in a bag. So wasn't worth leaving my room to collect. Not sure if I would stay again. We had the king size room. Recently booked April 12-13.
Apr 15, 2025 · Rhonda WrightThe location absolutely perfect if you are fortunate enough to get one of the rooms with a balcony, there is a gorgeous view of the Hudson River Valley and Bear Mountain. The service is friendly. The rooms are just okay. With a little bit of attention to detail, it could be a much nicer place. For that reason I do not recommend a stay at this particular hotel unless you have nowhere else to go.
May 19, 2025 · Joe GuastellaThis isn’t my kind of place. First I’ll start with the good. The staff that I dealt with were great and the location is exactly where I needed to be. You can easily walk to restaurants. The rooms were terrible. They are old, which is fine but they were cruddy. There was a giant black hair in the tuband dust and dirt on the floor. Any updates to the interior that have been done were done so poorly. There’s a big gap between the floor and the baseboards, I just kept imagining all the bugs that could get in. The bed was very firm which I actually like but the linens showed their age. You can hear everything from outside and trains go by regularly blowing their horns. It’s less frequent over night but still a sleep disrupter. The absolute worst part, after showering I grabbed a towel and as it unfolded a massively long black hair fell out into the tub. I canceled my second night’s stay.
Apr 04, 2025 · Chrissy LushSpent this past weekend at Inn on the Hudson. It was better than expected and I had a room with two double beds with a balcony facing the Hudson River which was very nice. The room is clean and the staff kind not have been nicer. The Inn is right of the main highway which is 9 and easy access to a number of restaurants and Main St.We had a good night's sleep as it is very quiet which was such a pleasure. The Inn offers you a grab and go breakfast until 10am.My only suggestion is that when you drive into the driveway at night the entrance is extremely dark and very hard to see. There should be a light there.
Mar 19, 2025 · Sonja ChecinskiPros:1. It was super clean2. The heating and hot water worked well3. Towels and toiletries were decent4. They gave us an early check in that had a great view of the Hudson5. The staff were super friendly.6. Location and view was great!Cons:1. We saw cops there twice so not sure what was going on but overall we felt safe.2. Also the rooms definitely need an upgrade but for the price offered I think it was alright.3. You need a car to get around for sure
