John J. Boccuzzi Park Reviews
It's a great park for walking your dog and enjoying views of the Long Island Sound. There are also tennis courts and a playground, making it perfect for families and friends
Jun 20, 2024 · Lindsay TaylorStamford, fix this place up! The driveway has massive potholes. The playground seems nice, but the only good thing about this "park" is if you have a little boat or kayak to launch in to the water. Parking is near the water, making things easy. I guess the little boardwalk is nice for walkers...somewhat sketchy area though.
Jul 18, 2023 · MGreat park next to my home. I'm glad to see the upgrades and maintenance happening here. The jungle gym has been finely tuned, and a new marina building added in.
Apr 13, 2023 · Rama ZomalethoThis park has a small beach, parking, a ball field, childrens playground, and public bathrooms.Around 2020, a plan was publicized to tear out existing mature trees and develop s building for a nonprofit organization. Many trees were unjustly destroyed for no good reason. The idea that one can cut down an adult tree and expect it can be replaced by a sapling is disturbing, particularly for an aesthetic. An entire row of border trees adding privacy for adjacent condos is abhorrent. After decades, the seemingly instant investment appears to be only associated with the large amount to private development and not the existing neighborhood.
Jun 16, 2022 · Cody HeisingerSmall underutilized park on Stamford harbour. Lovely walkway along the harbor past the condominiums to the Crab Shell. Nice spot on the walkway for fishing at high tide. The park itself could benefit from a refresh ... how about some flowering shrubs? How about a beach sand replenishment & cleanup ? Look at what Greenwich has done to Binny park for guidance.
