Kearny Recreation Department Reviews
I don't know how to express this, I'm happy I found this program and gave it to my son. It happens that on Thursday I am going to remove my son from the program and another child threw a bottle of water into my son's eye, which now has a black eye. What bothers me is that no representative told me anything about the altercation that happened, which seemed very informal on their part.
Jul 12, 2024 · Elsa MaxiThe program only count with volunteers, if they're good you're luck. My son had a great one for soccer, Mr. Andrea . Wonderful and caring coach! However, my daughter's was not luck at all, for the 2 times we signed her up for soccer, the coaches were high schoolers that did not care at all. Most of the practices were canceled because they were not able to come. Wonder if our taxes money could provide better couches.
Jan 16, 2022 · Eliana TSo disappointed with Ralph at the Kearny’s Recreational Dept. I signed up 3 of my kids early this summer for their soccer program and all it’s been is a HEADACHE!!I (along with my 3 yes old ) had to constantly stop we by the recreational Dept to find out what the status was with the kids practices and games. He’s got a bunch of irresponsible high school kids not doing their jobs.My last visit at the recreational Ralph made me feels as if I was lying when I told his secretary Leonita that I have not received any calls for my 2nd grader coach( btw the same happened with my two other kids ). He shouted from his room “she told me she called her at her 862 number!” So unprofessional now I see why these high school kids he has coaching don’t take him serious .Ralph should have come out of his man cave and apologized for his teams screw up. He should have made emphasizes how bad he felt for constantly having me go see him to find out the status of my kids games ( for goodness sake I paid for this) . It’s the least my kids and I deserve. He should know that my kids feels upset or sad that they haven’t been called for practice / play.Ralph need to get a mature staff. One whom can handle their responsibilities. An Adult. He needs to get organized. He should be handling the calls to parents letting them know when and where practice will be. And stay on top of all coaches !!I hope this coach Kate calls me today because I’m about to lose it on Ralph !! Maybe it’s time for Ralph to hand over his task to someone who can handle and take care of the Recreational Dept. needs.
