Mahlon Dickerson Reservation Campground Office Reviews
I have camped here on 2 occasions. The sites are private and easy to access. The trails give everything you would want for easy hiking with a lot of opportunities for small discoveries. Streams, low and high land, and a nice little package of what the Delaware Water Gap offers
Mar 08, 2023 · Mark STent campsite was beautiful and we had a nice weekend but I have a few issues- water source is really far away- bathroom was a Porta potty next to the parking lot and nothing else- we were told we can have two cars at the campsite but the first morning a guy came around and told us we couldn't have cars back here and no where did we see that rule. Like what the hell, we have to walk all our stuff to the campsite and park in the parking lot? We even called a few days before to ensure we can have cars and use a car tent and were told it's okay, but nope can't have a car next to our site. Two people left early because of this.
Jul 02, 2022 · Logan ColeI love this place, or maybe I hate it. Where is it anyway? Google seems to think that I've been there. Google knows more about me than I do.Anyway, it's probably nice and I look forward to visiting some day, or maybe notWe were walking on the Ogden Mine Rail path. It's a lovely place to walk, bicycle, picnic or fish. The downside is when the ATV'S go ripping up the path and leaving mud troughs and ruining the trail and the peace and quiet. The county park police need to patrol a little more and get these illegal vehicles off the trail.
