Mama Farm - B&B and Wedding Venue Introduce
Nestled in the tranquil embrace of Brookhaven, New York, Mama Farm - B&B and Wedding Venue presents a distinctive offering within the Scenic Spot category, providing not just accommodation but an immersive experience. Situated at 269 S Country Rd, Brookhaven, NY 11719, USA, this charming establishment, reachable at (631) 310-7778 or +1 631-310-7778, blends the rustic allure of a working farm with the sophisticated comfort of a bed and breakfast, making it an idyllic setting for a relaxing escape, a rejuvenating retreat, or a truly memorable wedding celebration.
Upon arrival at Mama Farm, guests are immediately enveloped by an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. The environment is a harmonious blend of natural beauty and thoughtful design. The farm itself is a pastoral haven, home to a delightful array of animals including very special chickens, sheep, and goats, each with their own personality. Guests, as recounted by one visitor, can enjoy "laughter-filled strolls around the farm," getting to know these endearing residents, such as BB, "a goat with a big personality who thinks she is a sheep." This interaction with the farm animals adds a unique, engaging dimension to the stay, differentiating Mama Farm from typical accommodations and firmly rooting it in the "Scenic Spot" category as a destination offering unique experiences and goods (such as farm-fresh produce or perhaps even workshops related to farm life, though not explicitly stated, it aligns with the overall theme).
The main house, serving as the bed and breakfast, is a testament to comfortable elegance. It is consistently described as "clean and bright, well-appointed, unfussy—a 'just right' home away from home." The design incorporates charming details, with each suite featuring a distinct theme. One guest vividly recalled selecting a room adorned with a "gallery of dog art including a print made by a friend of the family and a sculptural painting that Elettra made when she was little," highlighting the personal touches that make each stay unique. The library, too, holds "fun facts about books," inviting exploration and relaxation. Comfort is paramount, with "exceptional mattresses" ensuring a restful night's sleep. The presence of the resident canines, the "exuberant Rosie and discerning Pinocchio," further enhances the homely atmosphere, offering "canine company" on the grounds, though they do not stay within the house itself.
The services at Mama Farm are deeply rooted in personalized care and a genuine desire to enhance each guest's experience. The hosts, Anthony and Elettra, are frequently lauded for their exceptional hospitality. Anthony provides engaging tours, sharing "fun facts about books in the library, the design of the house, and the themes of each suite." Elettra, the gracious host, embodies kindness and presence. Her "warm, grounded energy is reflected in the physical space of the house," and her "graciousness" is evident from initial email exchanges to in-person interactions. Guests praise her for being "deeply observant and meticulously empathic, anticipating her guests’ needs and taking care of those around her in a way that is spacious and never impinging." This level of attentive, yet unobtrusive service, creates an environment where guests, even self-proclaimed "reluctant/infrequent traveler, homebody, and introvert," feel "well-rested and comfortable."
Mama Farm's features extend beyond comfortable lodging and engaging farm interactions. It is particularly well-suited for retreats and special events, seamlessly integrating into its "Scenic Spot" category by offering transformative experiences. The venue has successfully hosted women's health weekends, as highlighted by a guest who attended "a women’s health weekend retreat" and another who participated in "The Art of (meno) Pausing." These retreats leverage the serene environment for focused learning and personal growth. The meals provided during these events are described as "clean, creative, hearty," prepared by talented individuals like Stacey Schulz of Copper Beech and her assistant Donna, who are "a joy to be around." Beyond the culinary delights, the retreats incorporate wellness activities. Guests have benefited from the expertise of a Pilates instructor and acupuncturist, Jen Ward, and received "one of the best massages" from Donna Ball. Elettra herself contributes significantly to the wellness offerings, acting as a "natural teacher and insightful healer," leading "transformative meditation and breathwork sessions." This holistic approach to guest well-being makes Mama Farm a truly unique "Scenic Spot" that offers more than just sightseeing, but genuine enrichment.
As a wedding venue, Mama Farm capitalizes on its picturesque environment and exceptional service. While specific details about wedding packages are not provided, the general ambiance of the farm, the beautiful farmhouse, and the dedicated hospitality described by guests suggest an ideal backdrop for intimate and charming celebrations. The blend of rustic elegance and personalized attention would undoubtedly make a wedding at Mama Farm a truly special and memorable occasion for couples seeking a unique setting for their big day. The emphasis on nature and serenity aligns perfectly with the desire for a beautiful and meaningful ceremony.
Promotional information can be inferred from the glowing testimonials. Mama Farm offers an experience that is "inspiring and rejuvenating." Guests consistently "walked away with new friendships, an improved mindset, and a wealth of information." The positive impact is so significant that return visits are eagerly anticipated, with one guest already "looking forward to another visit, with company in tow next time!" The "exceptionally transformative" nature of the retreats is a key selling point, particularly for women over 40 seeking "self-understanding and wellness" as they navigate life's transitions. The farm's ability to provide a "perfect backdrop to an inclusive and connective weekend" underscores its suitability for group gatherings focused on learning and shared experience. The comprehensive care, from the "beautiful farm house" to the "delicious meals, thoughtful mindful meditations," and the expertise of guest professionals, all contribute to a compelling reason to choose Mama Farm as a destination for both personal retreats and significant life events. The unique blend of a working farm, a comfortable B&B, and a dedicated event space makes Mama Farm a standout "Scenic Spot" on Long Island, offering not just a place to stay, but a truly enriching and memorable experience.

Mama Farm - B&B and Wedding Venue Reviews
I flew from North Carolina to ISP to attend a women’s health weekend retreat at Mama Farm. After an easy 20-minute taxi ride from the airport, two other earlybirds and I were greeted on the front steps by the charming Anthony. He gave us a tour of the inn with fun facts about books in the library, the design of the house, and the themes of each suite. First we got settled in our rooms. (I selected the one with a gallery of dog art including a print made by a friend of the family and a sculptural painting that Elettra made when she was little.)Anthony then took us on a laughter-filled stroll around the farm, introducing us to the very special chickens, sheep, and goats—including BB, a goat with a big personality who thinks she is a sheep. After the tour, our host Elettra greeted us bearing a delicious spiced popcorn treat with pepitas and dried berries. Her graciousness, which I’d noted in a handful of email exchanges over the past year, was compounded in person. Elettra is a lantern of kindness and presence. She is deeply observant and meticulously empathic, anticipating her guests’ needs and taking care of those around her in a way that is spacious and never impinging.Elettra’s warm, grounded energy is reflected in the physical space of the house. It is clean and bright, well-appointed, unfussy—a “just right” home away from home. As a reluctant/infrequent traveler, homebody, and introvert, I was surprised to feel so well-rested and comfortable during the entire stay. The exceptional mattresses were a major perk, as was the canine company afforded by the exuberant Rosie and discerning Pinocchio. (They don’t stay in the house but can be found on the grounds). The space was a perfect backdrop to an inclusive and connective weekend. The medical experts who led the retreat were extremely knowledgeable, refreshingly candid, and easy to be around. By generously sharing their knowledge and experience, they set all of us up to find greater agency in our healthcare stories.Meals and activities were delightful and well organized. Stacey Schulz of Copper Beech and her assistant Donna made clean, creative, hearty meals—and were a joy to be around. We were also graced by the talents of Jen Ward, a Pilates instructor and acupuncturist, and Donna Ball, who gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever received. Elettra, who also happens to be a natural teacher and insightful healer, enriched our time together with transformative meditation and breathwork sessions.Overall, my stay at Mama Farm was inspiring and rejuvenating. I walked away with new friendships, an improved mindset, and a wealth of information. My friends and family have peppered me with questions since my return and are all (appropriately) envious. So I’m already looking forward to another visit, with company in tow next time! Thanks so much to everyone who makes Mama Farm the special place it is.
Apr 05, 2025 · K GI just returned from an exceptionally transformative week end retreat; The Art of (meno) Pausing at Mama Farm. Every aspect of the experience, from the beautiful farm house , the delicious meals, thoughtful mindful meditations to Dr. Amy and Dr Laura, guest experts in the field of Women's gynecological health, was offered with palpable consideration and grace. I highly recommend this retreat to any woman over 40 who seeks self understanding and wellness as she begins the chapter of menopause.
Apr 07, 2025 · Marianne GuntherMama Farm is an absolute treasure; every detail has been considered and the property and B&B are magical. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind. If you're lucky enough to come during a retreat, get ready to have the best food of your life. I've been to two retreats here and can't wait to come back for another. If you decide to leave the little heaven that is Mama Farm, Bellport is a wonderful village and a great place to explore. If you're considering a visit, just do it, I can assure you that you won't regret it. Thank you to Elettra, Anthony and the whole staff for creating something truly beautiful.
Jan 24, 2024 · Nicole MattilaMama Farm is such a magical place! I have been fortunate to have attended several events and lucky enough to have stayed here for an extended period of time! It is peaceful retreat and surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. Early Girl Farm next door is an inspiring example of a neighborhood farm, growing the most amazing produce. I've enjoyed walks along the nature path, visiting the chickens and the sheep and Beebe the Goat is a favorite! Accommodations are comfortable and welcoming. Everything you need is here and the staff is helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for a back to nature and self care retreat! Mama knows best! And my own Mom got to visit here too! Keep an eye out for the deer and wild turkey in the area! I think it is good luck to see them here!
Jan 28, 2023 · StaceyMama Farm is as charming as you’ll get, nestled beside woods, near the scenic village of Bellport & its waterfront. On a snowy weekend I arrived to take part in The 3 day Real Reset Retreat, I had booked to stay at Mama Farm’s b & b. Warmly welcomed by Anthony, who manages the b & b and farm, I was shown to my beautiful room. Elettra, who runs Mama Farm, joined by Kaori and Farah, the Real Reset team, arrived to welcome all of us, and the evening began with a spectacular platter of crudités prepared by chef Stacey and Jacki. We were served a delicious dinner followed by a talk and introduction to our retreat ahead. The three days were spectacular, filled with workouts, consultations, breath work, discussions, meditation and fabulous meals. After one day I already felt a huge shift, calmer, energized, positive, rested. The group of women who attended formed a wonderful bond, all aspiring to feel better , encouraging and supportive. The setting is magical, I visited the farm animals and walked along the trail in the quiet of the snowy woods on a beautiful clear & crisp afternoon. A feast for the senses, highly recommended! I will certainly return as soon as I can! Grazie tutti xo
