Mill Creek Marsh Trail Reviews
Really cute to walk around . Not the best hiking trail it’s ok it’s a 2.5/5 for me
Feb 02, 2025 · Camila De ArmasThis is a nice little wetland park by the mall. As of now (2024/05), the creek is low on water and it does not smell too well. I was lucky enough to spot a fox. There are many holes in the ground dug by groundhogs and I even saw a few groundhogs - big ones and small ones. Also there are many tiny crabs sunbathing on the banks of the creek.
Jun 01, 2024 · Dazhi Wangits an hidden gem in Secacrus, we have been to the shopping center hundreds of times, but never knew at the secret corner of the parking lot, it’s the entrance to this meadowlands where it’s fully of wild life’s like birds and ducks. The path is paved with red sand and it’s wheel chair accessible. The only downsides is mosquitoes, so better get your bug spray before you go.
Jun 11, 2024 · Yi QuHad low expectations but was pleasantly surprised!! Flat trails, easy and free parking, beautiful marshlands filled with birds, turtle, and flowers!! A surprise given it's location behind a shopping center.I have hiked in many places and recognize that this is truly a gem and hope it stays that way; I saw several people walking their dogs with one lady having her dog off leash, which is a problem regardless of how "friendly" or "well trained" your dog is, it is still a animal and there are many people who do not like, are allergic to, or are afraid of dogs. Also, it's a preserve so please DO NOT off leash walk your dog here. You can get fined and there are parks department employees that regularly check on this park. There are a lot of wild animals roaming around and families with kids so please be considerate of others.
Aug 02, 2023 · Kitty MonVery pleasant trail to walk, but be sure to bring bug spray... some of the mosquitos might require a bat to keep them away! Seriously lots of bugs. But the walk is otherwise pleasant and goes for quite a distance. No facilities so be sure to make a bathroom stop first ;)
