Millennium Premier New York Times Square Reviews
The Premier is my home away from home in NYC. We stay here every time we come to the city. Love the warm welcome by the staff, especially Monique. They go out of their way to accommodate requests and take great care of their guests. The generous sized rooms are a great feature, not to mention the incredible, easy access to Broadway theaters. Also love the boutique feel and that it's not jammed with crowds.Have to be honest, the hotel is in need of a refresh, so it's really a 3 - 3.5* but location, room size and amazing staff kick it up a notch.
May 21, 2025 · Jennifer GreenbergThis is one of the best locations for my need in New York City, walking distance to everything that my plans to do while I’m here the room was large bed was comfortable, but everything needs a sprucing up. The light in my room was broken. They sent somebody up to fix it, but unfortunately, they couldn’t just meant that I couldn’t close it off next to my bed when I went to sleep I had to get up and turn it off Not a big deal I know, but still for this quality of a hotel with 30 years in existence, I was disappointed by the lack of upgrading that they’ve done also in the room. There’s no place that I can plug in my techno, equipment, watch phone, iPad. I have to use one over at the Far end desk TV was large sitting on top of the table not on the walls. But my most disappointment was the breakfast room. It was brown bagging it you went downstairs and you had to throw anything you wanted. They did have a variety. Nothing that I would say was outstanding bagels in plastic croissants in plastic years ago I stayed here and everything was top notch. They had a nice room downstairs where they now have The breakfast. I just described not even any tables in there. You would have to take all that stuff back up to your room or outside since there’s no real lobby area to sit in the couch with two chairs, but he wants to sit there while everybody’s walking in and you’re trying to eat. This hotel used to be a five star hotel in my book and it could be again with just a few little upgradesThe staff was nice most of them when I asked for an extension cord because I needed to do that in order to plug my items in one young lady said we don’t give extension cords. Luckily there was a gentleman there and he stepped right up and said no problemAgain this location is prime. I’d like to see the rest of the hotel B premier prime this premier section we used to stay in the other section, but it got to be so worn out looking that we didn’t go back there.I hope some of these issues are addressed soon cause I really do enjoy the location of this hotel and we like to return
May 17, 2025 · harriet millerThis facility is while is in a good location to where you may wanted to be will charge you not only for possible incidental s services but will add on a fee to validate your credit card using. Well, I stayed at other hotels that simply charge you if you have incident charges this facility wants to charge you again simply to validate your credit card you’re using at the time check in. There is conflicting information concerning the validation fee which was not mentioned at the time of the checkin. The management says they will not refund the charge back to you. However, the an accounting coordinator stated that the charge would be refunded.
May 20, 2025 · Michael ConleyI enjoyed this hotel, the location, the distance to everything, the staff, everything. I would return here for sure! I forgot to take photos because I was too busy having a good time but it was nice and minimal. The room I had was upgraded and we did have nice modern blue sofa, a television, space in between and a queen size bed. There was also a closet in there as well with an umbrella provided by the hotel. We needed it during our stay which was different from another hotel we stayed in previously that didn’t provide this amenity. They also had the shower which could’ve been a little softer with the water from the shower head. There was also some issues with the sink and there was a minor issue with the light above the bar. Someone came in to take care of this quickly so I don’t have any complaints. I also loved the bathtub and the robe provided. Breakfast was grab and go croissants, danishes, bagels with cream cheese and an espresso machine. Check in was excellent as well. I just went into the wrong millennium hotel but this one is right next door. There’s a theater right in between each hotel. The gym is in the sister building it looks like. Overall, our stay was amazing, relaxing and accommodating. It was a huge contrast from the busy city so thank you Millennium premier!
Jan 21, 2025 · BeeeMy previous review was deleted and I have to repost.I am very disappointed with my stay. There was no one at the check in. First I arrived at Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square and took out my luggage. Then the porter asked the Uber driver to drive further up to Millennium Premier New York Times Square. Sure, not a problem. But when I finally lugged my luggage in at 6pm, I was really surprised that there was no one at the check in. For the first time I had to use my phone to call the hotel and look around frantically for help. I was super tired and thought that a 4 star hotel would have several staff at the front desk.I had to lug my luggage to the Broadway Times Square next door to check in, then bring it back to Premier again. How frustrating and tiring. No one seemed to empathize, saying "Oh, the front desk forgot to tell the others she went for a break." Do you mean there's no other front desk staff to man the counter?I am a Singaporean and want to support local Singapore hotel chains in the US. But after this incident, I will book Marriott or Hyatt as all my check ins and check outs were smooth with them. When I wanted to check out, the front desk told me the credit card system was down. So they cannot allow me to change cards (with paywave or physical) and I had to use the first credit card I gave during check in for security deposit. Again, this was something I have not encountered before given I travel frequently. They called me back to change my credit card when the system was up a few hours later. It was very inconvenient as I wanted to go to the airport already.Saving grace was that at least I had 2 mineral bottles in the room. However, the breakfast left much to be desired. It was mostly packaged snacks and drinks...wished there were some hot food including eggs.
