Mont Morris Guest House Reviews
Wonderful place. The rooms are clean, spacious (in New York), and well decorated. The bed is comfy. The surrounding neighborhood looks interesting but I feel unsafe. Probably because I'm not New Yorker.
Nov 07, 2018 · Geovanna GomezThis guest house is located in what I found the best district of the big apple. It is well connected to the city center with the red line metro, it takes 15 min to be in Manhattan, walking distance to Central Park. The surrounding area is alive, vivid, extremely interesting, and there is always something going on at night. Bars with live music, shows, nice talkative people, very kind inhabitants in general. The employees are extremely nice and kind: they gave us a small guide to NYC (and Harlem) with useful hints and tips to survive low-budget in the city. They really helped us, and had a lot of understanding as we overslept the day we were supposed to check-out. Thanks guys, I really appreciate your kindness and understanding! :)The room was cool, stylish, and peculiar: nice furniture, a kind of underground-Berlin-style, adressed to young people but full of all the comforts: nice modern bathroom, big closet, fan, tv, a small fridge and a boiler in case you want to prepare a cup of tea. What there is nearby? Whole Food Supermarket, in case you need something good and cheap to take with you before visiting the city center. The first corinthian baptist church, where you can experience the real spiritual life of the amazing communty here. Bars where you can listen to blues, jazz, r&b, and hip hop live concerts, or famous places such as Minton's and Apollo Theater. I'm really enthusiastic of this place: for my next trip to NYC, I'm gonna book this Hotel again.
