Penington Friends House Reviews
Pleasant rooms (two) for travelers in an intentional residential community of Quakers and others living according to Quaker values. Accommodations (as of November 2019) include a light breakfast and an evening meal Sundays through Thursdays. The building was not designed to be accessible and potential guests need to know that part of the Penington’s charm are in traveling its staircases. My room, the Phebe (third floor) is the smaller of two rooms. It has an immaculate half-bath and a shower just outside the door. The larger Darlington is on the second floor.I can see how this could be a wonderful base of operations for researchers coming to the city for work.Looking forward to my next stay.

Feb 21, 2023 · Tii (T1)When I was a lot younger, I used to stay at this place. My friend was a resident at a local hospital and he had a room here. This place is quite welcoming and it has good basic perks.
Nov 24, 2021 · PEYTONWe came on New Year's Eve 2023 and loved it. Clean and welcoming place. I highly recommend and will be back as soon as I get the chance. Thank you!
Jan 03, 2023 · Camille BOURGINNice old-school rooming house run by Quakers. They also have a few rooms by the night. I'm not sure why some of these other reviews seem to be talking about food and delivery. This is not a restaurant.
