Ramada By Wyndham Brooklyn Near Flatbush Reviews
Room was perfect for our 3 1/2 day stay in NYC! Check in was easy, service was friendly, breakfast was decent! Would highly recommend! Was about an hr commute to time square by subway, but it was easy to navigate using our gps.
May 19, 2025 · Lauren CavallaroStayed here for 5 nights and left with mixed feelings. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. AC worked perfectly, and the included breakfast, while basic, was decent. The best part is the location — just a 2-minute walk to the 2 & 5 subway lines, which get you to downtown Brooklyn in 20 minutes and Manhattan in 30–40. There’s also a McDonald’s, Target, and other food options around the corner. However, there were several drawbacks. The staff felt indifferent and untrained. For example, we returned one night to find no toilet paper had been restocked, and body wash and shampoo ran out with no refills, even though we were staying multiple nights. Housekeeping was inconsistent — some days the towels were changed but the bed wasn’t made; other days only the trash was taken out or nothing was done at all.Rooms are very small — barely enough space to walk around or store anything beyond a carry-on. On top of that, we experienced low water pressure in the shower and a small leak behind the toilet. Soundproofing is poor; we could clearly hear traffic and people revving engines outside. The building also doesn’t feel especially secure, as you don’t need a keycard to access the elevator. For the price, it’s not the worst option, but the rooms are much smaller than advertised. I’d personally recommend the Avid Hotels in Dyker Heights instead — similar pricing, much better staff, quieter area, and more comfortable rooms (though it’s a little further from public transit — about a 10-minute walk to the subway).
May 06, 2025 · GuyI’m going to actually be generous and say two stars. Location was easy for me to find parking on my stay and the bed was comfortable. However, from the moment I entered the room I could smell the distinct smell of old cigarette smoke. My partner and I would wake up mid night to weed smoke and cigarette smoke billowing into our room. Attempted to contact front desk and communicate but got no one. There are clear signs stating the building is no smoking weed cigarettes or vaping but it is clear this is not upheld in anyway so if u hate smoke don’t stay here.Cleaning staff behind slamming door around 7 am. Not once, not twice but repeatedly every two to three minutes. After hours of trying to rest overwhelmed by smoke I got up hair a mess and in my pj’s went into the hallway asking the cleaning lady who’d just slammed the door to stop. I went back into my room to use my phone to translate to Spanish and once she understood she did make an effort to be conscious people are trying to sleep. But come on who does this???? It was a hard metal door slamming every time I would begin to doze off. Then as we struggled tired to get up and out exactly at 11 and they came knocking on the door to inform us of the fact it was check out time…. I would never recommend nor stay here again. If u have other options I strongly suggest you consider them
May 05, 2025 · Chelsea HeywardThis hotel is in a nice quiet spot, not a lot of foot traffic outside which is a nice breather from the hectic bustle of the rest of the city. It did take me about 5 minutes to wait for a Lyft though, since it’s a bit out of the way, so I’d keep that in mind if you have a tight schedule. The rooms are fine, very clean- I liked the addition of Dove bathroom products, since I had to shower with what they provided, since I had to rush into the city with what I could throw in a backpack for the weekend. There is a bit of construction detritus left over, like marker marks on the marble from being cut, and some gobs of caulk around the ceilings where the drywall was installed. Other than that I didn’t notice anything, much nicer than some hotels I’ve stayed in in the city. As of when I stayed there was only one working elevator and it was really slow. It looked like they were working on getting the other up and running while I was there though. All in all a great hotel for the price, especially if you need a place to stay in Brooklyn for a quick trip.
May 04, 2025 · Tabithaa KillworthRoom was extremely small...but clean. Bed was very comfortable, great sleep. Breakfast was ok.There's no parking...couldn't get even a suggestion on where to park.Staff friendly...Most likely wouldn't stay here again...just because of the parking situation.
