As a public park, River Barge Park and Marina typically does not offer ongoing commercial promotions or special offers in the traditional sense, as it is managed by a state agency and primarily provides public access and recreational facilities. Its "promotion" lies in its continuous availability as a valuable community resource.
However, it is always advisable for interested individuals to check the official New Jersey Meadowlands Commission (NJMC) website or any local Carlstadt community announcements for potential one-off events. Occasionally, parks may host free educational programs, environmental awareness days, or community clean-up initiatives. These events, while not "promotions" in a commercial sense, offer unique opportunities to engage with the park and the local community. For instance, there might be guided nature walks, bird-watching events, or fishing derbies organized by local groups in collaboration with the park management.
Since information about such specific events is often seasonal or announced closer to the date, the best way for locals to stay informed about any special happenings at River Barge Park and Marina is to keep an eye on local Carlstadt community boards, the official NJMC website, or local news outlets that cover Meadowlands events. These sources would be the primary channels for communicating any opportunities for enhanced engagement with the park that go beyond its everyday offerings.

River Barge Park and Marina Reviews
Beautiful little spot with a great view of water. You can also fish and launch boats.
May 10, 2023 · Gene HirschelI drove 4 hours from out of state ..with plans..of launching my wave runner at this location to film a video on the meadowlands …I called to find out gate closing time…and was told personal watercraft are prohibited…due to problems with teenagers…and complaints from marine police…after inquiries…i believe this a false statement… police do not blame marinas for the actions of a person who launch’s from their establishment ..so this state agency is lying to the public in my opinion ,and a prime example of incompetent management …if someone breaks the rules…you deal with the individuals responsible …you do not punish the public…I will be doing a deeper dive into what’s going on … but when state agencies start talking away freedoms and public access..or discriminate against law abiding personal watercraft enthusiasts …this is a major concern …that needs to be investigated. Fortunately I found a much better ramp to launch from .otherwise besides this issue it’s a very nice park.
