Robert J. Henke Nature Preserve Passive Park Reviews
There is a short paved loop of 0.3 miles around perimeter trail and some crossings mid-loop. It is remarkable that preserve has dedicated paved parking lot and number of benches along paved path. Good nature visit resource for locals but not a destination on its own.
Apr 14, 2024 · Mike ZMy wife and I love to walk in this sweet little park. It's very well maintained, and people you meet there seem polite and nonthreatening. Very flat and clean walkway, good for those who may have difficulty hiking in a more rugged setting. Easy and pleasant way to enjoy a stroll through the trees. Some interesting plantings as well. Tiny parking lot kind of ensures a less crowded experience
May 30, 2023 · ScottIt's small but very nice. An asphalt loop for those who are tick-wary with dirt paths entwined, twisting through the middle. There are some benches and other exercise installations throughout
Jul 30, 2024 · Melissa TroxlerI enjoy this park for me and my dog
May 19, 2025 · Parker TaylorIt’s a little off the Main Street off Setauket. We saw signs for summer concerts and that’s great. It is a privately maintained preserve. Saw a few families with little ones who were in awe of the number of turtles popping up out of the water or sunning themselves on the floating stationery logs in the estuary. It’s a nice afternoon stroll.
