Shore Pkwy Park Reviews
When I walk out of my house near Rockaway Parkway I am confronted with cars parked on the sidewalk, drivers ignoring stop signs and general mayhem. Then I walk 1/2 mile to the Belt Parkway bike path and I am transported to another dimension. Where rabbits cross my path. And people say ‘Good Morning.’ And beautifully colored birds flutter from tree to tree.
Mar 03, 2024 · PhilYouInVery relaxing, watch the beautiful ducks while swimming and flying around!
Apr 12, 2025 · Khaled EllithyVery nice and scenic route. Great to take a walk or ride your bike by the water. Could use some lighting at night, otherwise a great place to do and relax or do some activities.
Sep 08, 2019 · Maxx D. (Mad Maxx)It was never so dirty! When we got out of the car, the smell of urine was overwhelming! The water was like something out an environmental conscious movie. Aquaman would definitely attack us if he saw this. I guess being locked away because of COVID didn't help this area at all. Despite all of this it's still a nice walk and you can easily avoid people.
Jun 24, 2020 · Kymberly BerardiGo through this park several mornings at the same time and you bump into familiar faces. People from all ethnic groups jogging, exercising, walking their dog, cycling... I like the bike trail. The park is well lit, but beyond the park, the bike trail goes too dark to be enjoyable at night. The potholes don't help either. But during the day, it's great. You can forgive the potholes.
