Harbor Motor Inn Reviews
This place used to be straight up scary. It’s a normal motel now, 100% ok if you’re in this area for whatever reason and just need to take a shower and sort yourself out. It’s not a hotel it’s a motel but it’s a normal motel now (with very nice staff which is weird bc I’d think they deal w some crazy situations here since you can rent rooms by the 4-5 hour slots .. I didn’t stay over the weekend though it might and prob does get a bit crazy but mid week it’s super chill and obv location is so continent. I’m so glad to have this as an option of a place to crash in an emergency or even for few days (I’m local). I wish it was cheaper esp if u stay few night or a regular but nyc rent doesn’t care I guess lol i understand.I seen some reviews about roaches, I haven’t had anything like this experience. This place is by the bay (like RIGHt on it) so if they meant those big water hugs and had their windows open in summer overnight or something this is predictable lol but maybe i got lucky but for some no nyc apt roach ifestation type of issues u can tell. I stayed in end of may for reference. For if you’re not local and w suitcases etc need a shower btw your trip on layover at jfk and dont have anything by there the rooms are def big enough for suitcases and large spacious drawers and everything continent to sort out your luggage etc. and if you’re staying longer there are 24 hour very good restaurants about 3 blocks away, its right by a big highway entrance and open street so even if any weirdos you’ll be safe bc its a very open and seen area where always cars pass by and stop and intersection etc and during regular hours you’re on the same lot with one of the biggest shopping locations for the are so if u are missing anything there’s literally a target a khols and a Best Buy as your neighbor and there are 2 separate sections to what in nyc is considered “nature” lol back of hotel starts a section that’s relatively new and it’s a good location for sunset it’s a bit less stressful then the part that starts on bay parkway and heads towards the bridge Ask the workers about where to get food they all seem local and u can get stuff delivered there are a few that are a little too annoying to walk to hit are good like some pizza places that been here since at least the 90s and are still good etc they know them I’m sureOh and clean towels, everything nice and standard. There is a vending machine w stuff like normal toothbrushes hairbrushes random stuff like that that looks like been picked by a human that might have used them and not a private equity corp using AI suggesting items to sell to a “human” 🤣
May 29, 2025 · maria bezrodnayaWhere do i start? This place sucks. Let me tell u the pillows smell like someone drooled on it and peeded. The workers are rude. And my neighbor literally screams day and night im not kidding. I complained they didnt do anything. When i tell u he screams he actually screams. The walls are so thin.the ac dont work. Worst night i ever slept. NEVER AGAIN
Apr 30, 2025 · saba AliReally nice place in Brooklyn. Stayed here with family over the New Year and it was decorated very beautifully with Christmas ornaments. The rooms are nice and so is the bathroom. The receptionists are nice although there are some who just don't care lol. My one criticism is that the hallways smell like smoke/Marijuana since there are rooms where you can smoke cigarettes and it can crawl into the non-smoking rooms. My advice is to just open a windows and the smell goes right out. I would definitely recommend this place for tourists specifically and by the way to get back to the street where the building is take the D train to Bay Parkway.
Jan 02, 2025 · KingThe walls are so thin u can hear anyone doing anything also the pillow and bed smell the someone drooled and peeded on it. I cant sleep all night because there is a guy screaming all day long. When i complained they didnt do anything. This hotel sucks never again
Apr 30, 2025 · Sumera AliI am very upset, I booked a room for two days for $262 and wasted my money on this damn hotel. The first day at night until the morning in the neighboring room there was very loud music. Also the second day the same problem with loud music. At 10 pm I reported this problem to the hotel worker, and she simply said that loud music at night can’t be a reason for a complaint and they can’t do anything about it.I think that’s not normal. At night in a hotel where the rooms are small and very close to each other, no one has the right to play music so loudly until the morning.I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
