Throughout the circumference of the park one can find memorial trees planted and dedicated to those servicemen. On the Union Avenue side a nice little garden is planted, while on the Washington Avenue side there is a small pavilion with a commemorative set of headstones with several dedicated plaques, along with a key stone which shows exactly where each memorial tree is located. Just off to the side of the pavilion is a set of benches for that passive park feel, and near the center of the park is a short walking path between Jackson and Raymond set on a diagonal and on an uphill downhill incline for cardio benefits.

May 14, 2025 · SPretty little park. Tiny, quiet, perched on the side of a hill. I like to walk a few laps here because the steep elevation change makes it a nice workout. The bad: this summer I get bitten by a mosquito every time I go; only happens here.
