The Beekman, a Thompson Hotel

123 Nassau St, New York, NY 10038, USA

4.0
I stayed at The Beekman for two nights and was really impressed by this hotel. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful, getting us situated quickly during our late check in of 1AM. The hotel itself is beautiful in architecture, and is really well maintained. The vibe feels very classic, but with a slight modern twist. We booked the standard king room which is the lowest level of room category, but it is miles ahead of other hotel rooms in the area. The decor is really well thought out, the minibar is stocked with great products and the little offerings like an in-room bottle opener really make the experience better. For a small room, the bathroom is quite large and the shower is luxurious. The ventilation and temperature control is also so much better than other hotels I’ve stayed at.The hotel bar is also an amazing spot for cocktails. The drinks are delicious and well crafted, and the service is really outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the whole staff seemed eager to help even if you weren’t their assigned table. The seating is also super comfortable.Overall, this was a great experience and I will definitely be back when I’m staying in this neighborhood. - Christopher Brahim
