I was surprised positively by the neighborhood and its ease of access to surrounding parks and restaurants and I'd definitely stay there again.Thank you, The Lodge!
May 23, 2025 · Gabriel OliveiraI think you'll love this place. I chose it primarily because of the rating and proximity to the Brooklyn Cruise terminal. I wanted to bypass Manhattan and have an easy short commute to the QM2 for an eastbound transatlanticcrossing. The rooms are well-appointed. The climate control is very quiet. This is a detailed lost on many hotels. I was a bit perplexed by the digital key system so they gave me a hard copy, which was nice. You'll have a great view of the Manhattan skyline Sunny's dive bar's right around the corner. Grab some dinner at Red Hook Tavern, Bar Mario or Lundy's of Brooklyn. Decent size mini fridge almost a full size mirror modern and clean. Breakfast included. Always a plus
May 23, 2025 · Dominic CarpinGreat value hotel, easy ferry, bus& subway links, breakfast is a bonus. Great dining options on van Brunt & Court St; would recommend Strong Rope Brewery, Keg & Lantern, Bar Mario & Fragole. Nice to stay in a neighbourhood rather than tourist central. Really impressed with the lodge.
May 30, 2025 · Allison GreigVery good small hotel.Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, good breakfast.Reception staff (Anthony, Inna, Roy, and Xavier) very helpful and knowledgeable.Nearest subway station is around 15 minutes walk away so it may be better to use Ubers when staying
May 30, 2025 · Alan PennieThe location is amazing, walk to Red Hook ferry stop to get to Wall Street or Dumbo in 15 minutes. Red Hook itself is safe(lodge overlooks State Police office) and lively. Walk to Strong Rope Brewing for evening sunset over water and stunning view of Statue of Liberty. Walk to Red Hook Coffee (for coffee, treats, thrift shop) and get a discount for staying at the lodge. Worth it to pay for city view room - high floor and nice skyline view.
