Such a great family park. The newest splash pad is a fabulous addition( wish it was there sooner when my first 2 were younger) and the newly renovated play area is fantastic for all ages and welcoming for children with disabilities. There’s a new snack stand open as well, haven’t tried yet but heard good things. There is a dog park as well! You do have to be a town resident so please be prepared to show ID - Samantha Cole

Promotions or Special Offers

As a private municipal park for Town of Orangetown residents, Veterans Park and Playground doesn't typically run commercial "promotions" in the traditional sense. • Included Amenities with Residency: Access to the splash pad, newly renovated playground, sports fields, and dog park is effectively "included" as a benefit of being an Orangetown resident, without additional per-use fees for these specific amenities (excluding any organized league fees or specific program registrations).

  • Community Events: The park frequently hosts various town-sponsored community events, which are generally free or have a nominal fee for participation, aimed at fostering community spirit among residents.

  • Facility Rental: While not explicitly detailed for this specific park, many municipal parks allow residents to rent pavilions or certain areas for private parties or gatherings. Information on any associated fees or booking processes would be available through the Parks and Recreation Department.
