Went Field

Bridgeport, CT 06605, USA

4.0
This park is nestled right in the midst of a neighborhood that could use it's upkeep. Park has 2 baseball fields, 3 basketball full courts that need repairing of the ground so no one trips and hurts themselves. There's also some pipes that were cut and not chiseled completely down- someone could severely cut themselves. There's half of a track which is still usable but why not just go ahead and make a full track- promote healthy living so people can come out and burn calories and get the heart pumping. There's a pretty set of swings and water fountains so people can get wet and cool off from the heat. The city should get fresh coats of paint in that park. Beautify it. Someone needs to take the initial and get people out and clean the park up. I'd love having that park in my neighborhood if I lived there. There's also free parking and an area to sit down. I saw 2 big soccer goal-line nets..looks like there could be a soccer field. There's also public restrooms. Make this park great again! - Rashad Worthy
