Courtyard Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale Introduce
The Courtyard Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale, located at Two Marriott Plaza, 2 Marriott Plaza, Farmingdale, NY 11735, USA, serves as a prominent lodging option for visitors to the Farmingdale area and those utilizing Republic Airport. As a hotel, its primary role within the "Scenic Spot" category is to provide a comfortable and functional base from which guests can explore the broader Long Island region, including its various attractions and natural beauty. While not a scenic spot in itself, it acts as a crucial service provider for travelers seeking to experience the surrounding area. The hotel can be reached via phone at (631) 847-0010 or mobile at +1 631-847-0010.
The environment of the Courtyard Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale is designed to cater to both business and leisure travelers. Its location, within the Republic Airport grounds and near the Route 110 Corporate Corridor, positions it conveniently for those on corporate trips or attending events in the area. Proximity to major businesses like Canon, Arrow Electronics, and Telephonics is a significant environmental advantage for business guests. For leisure travelers, its location offers access to nearby attractions such as Adventureland Amusement Park, Bethpage State Park (including the renowned Black Course), and various Long Island beaches like Jones and Robert Moses, though direct shuttle service is not provided. The hotel itself comprises 131 rooms across four floors, including three suites, suggesting a moderate-sized property capable of accommodating a good number of guests. The overall ambiance aims for comfort and productivity, with recent renovations underway to modernize its facilities. While the hotel generally boasts free parking, some guests have noted issues with "not enough parking" during peak times, which could be a consideration for those traveling with vehicles. The surrounding area features accessible dining options within walking distance, such as Houlihan's, Panera Bread, LongHorn Steakhouse, and Starbucks, adding to the convenience for guests who prefer to dine outside the hotel.
In terms of services and features, the Courtyard Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale offers a standard range of amenities expected from a Marriott property. Key features include a fitness center, providing guests with opportunities for exercise and wellness during their stay. There is also an indoor swimming pool and a spa tub, offering options for relaxation and recreation. The hotel features The Bistro, a food and beverage destination that provides breakfast options in the morning, often featuring Starbucks coffee, and a variety of dinner and cocktail options in the evening. This on-site dining facility adds convenience for guests who prefer to dine within the hotel. Additionally, a 24-hour "Market" is available, offering snacks and forgotten amenities. Other general services include a 24-hour front desk, express check-in and check-out, laundry facilities, a business center, and complimentary Wi-Fi in guestrooms and public areas. The hotel also has two meeting rooms, totaling 1,520 square feet of event space, capable of holding up to 70 people, making it suitable for small corporate gatherings or events. Accessibility features are also noted, with wheelchair accessibility throughout the grounds and accessible rooms available. Housekeeping services are typically provided, though some reviews have indicated inconsistencies or a need for guests to specifically request service for longer stays.
However, it is important to provide an objective introduction based on all available information, including recent guest feedback. Some guest reviews highlight areas where the hotel has fallen short of expectations. Specifically, some guests reported issues with room conditions, such as "visible mold on the ceiling and around the bathtub given missing caulk around the shower and absolutely no air flow" in bathrooms. Noise from "construction on the floor above," including "drills before 9 am," has also been a concern for guests. These issues, alongside reports of difficulties honoring free night reservations and points, suggest inconsistencies in service delivery or ongoing challenges related to the renovations. While some reviews praise the cleanliness, spacious rooms, and friendly staff, these specific negative points indicate that the hotel may be undergoing a period of transition or requires attention to certain maintenance and guest experience aspects. The variability in guest experiences, from "wonderful" to "truly disappointed," suggests that while the hotel has potential, it may not consistently meet the high standards expected from a Marriott brand for every guest.
For promotional purposes, the Courtyard Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale can emphasize its strategic location for both corporate and leisure travel, its array of standard Courtyard amenities like the fitness center and The Bistro, and its ongoing efforts to enhance the guest experience through renovations. It can be promoted as a convenient base for exploring Long Island's diverse attractions, from amusement parks and golf courses to beaches, given its relatively central location. For business travelers, highlighting its proximity to the airport and corporate offices, along with meeting facilities and business amenities, would be key. The availability of free parking and proximity to various off-site dining options can also be attractive selling points. While acknowledging the current renovation period, future promotional efforts should focus on the completed enhancements, ensuring a renewed promise of comfort and quality. The hotel can also leverage its Marriott branding to attract guests who value brand consistency and loyalty programs. Emphasizing the comfort of its bedding and the professionalism of its staff (as reported in positive reviews) can also be effective. Despite recent challenges, the hotel's long-standing presence and ongoing investment in improvements suggest a commitment to serving its guests and the local community effectively as a reliable accommodation option in Farmingdale.

Courtyard Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale Reviews
My bathroom had visible mold on the ceiling and around the bathtub given missing caulk around the shower and absolutely no air flow. Not enough parking. Not worth the price.
Apr 07, 2025 · Chris MinerI was truly disappointed when they would not honor my free night & points as I was told when I made the reservation. They were also doing construction on the floor above & we heard drills before 9am. My family & I were dismayed since we have been staying at this Marriott for years & have always had a wonderful experience. We will be staying at a different Long Island Marriott location from now on since we have loved all of the other places we have visited & stayed at such as the Marriott Marquis in Times Square & the Grand Adirondack Hotel in Lake Placid.
Jan 21, 2025 · Musical Endeavors, LLCI had such a great experience at this hotel, the people that worked at the checking desk were so nice and helpful, the woman working the hotel bar was really sweet and took good care of my family and our room was really nice
Mar 30, 2025 · The Blind BeardSo I was a guest at this hotel for 2 weeks back in Christmas 2024. I'm also African American. Let's just say the 2nd day I felt so uncomfortable I wanted to check out. The clerk who checked me in was very nice and over accommodating this soon changed..I was put on the forth floor. It would appear house keeping didn't check everything in the room. There was no hot water in the face basin pipe and the shower took about 10 minutes to get hot. The drapes were hanging uneven and the lights shining in from the air strip made it difficult for me to fall asleep. The sink was also clogged. Last but not least the heat stop working after 2 days. When I reported the things that needed fixing it was as if I was being dismissed by the maintenance crew. I had to insist that the things I reported was indeed not working.I tried to remain in the room but after a failed attempt to remedy the problems in the room I decided I wanted to change room. I told the overnight clerk who told me she made a note in an email chain.I also called the morning and the morning clerk confirm she saw the note. I had business to do so when I got back I called the front desk to tell them I was back in my room and they could make arrangements to switch my room.By this time the evening clerk who kept putting me on hold every single time I called the front desk, told me when she finally picked up the phone, that she didn't see any email and that the shift had just changed.I have a disability I'm diagnosed with bipolar. I also have OCD and I'm a germophobe. This hotel was anything but accommodating with someone with a disability in my opinion. One morning I was 4 minutes early for breakfast because I was leaving early the morning. I was told by the 2 clerks working that I had to wait until 6 although the breakfast was ready and no guests was around.I always tried to be the first one for breakfast because if anyone stands over the food or doesn't use a utensil or keeps feeling up the food I can't eat it. I missed breakfast a few times because of this. The supervisor Durrel made reference to my debit card being a walmart card in a condesending tone, when $10 was taken out of my account without my authorization by the male clerk on duty after I checked out the first week. At first I was told no monies was taken out of my account. After I took a screen shot of my online statement and email it to Durrel I was then told it was a charge from the prior week which was a lie. The money was taken out the 2nd week I checked in. I am yet to get back the $10 dollars.Theresa was the only clerk who tried to make my stay comfortable. Had it not been for her I would have checked out the 2nd day at the hotel. The staff kept ignoring my calls. For the first week I had to sleep on dirty sheets and keep begging for service I never received. Even when the TV wasn't working I was told there was no one to fix it.I was promised reward points by Durrel that I didn't receive over a week later. When I called to redeem my points from my 2 weeks stay I was put on hold 5 times. I gave my telephone number and full name and email address and was told by the clerk they couldn't find my account.I finally had enough and told the clerk she could take the points and push it where the sun don't shine.I'm yet to get an apology and was told Im not welcome back at the hotel. This is my true experience staying at this hotel
Jan 25, 2025 · Ashley ReynoldsEvery single team member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms were extremely clean. Decor/bathrooms were a bit dated but in good condition. Only stayed 1 night for a business meeting in the area, but if I'm back, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.Update: stayed here a second time and unfortunately was put in a room right off the lobby where you hear the music all night. Deducting a star. Ask for a new room if they put you in that area.
