Yarbo Introduce
Yarbo, located at 1951 Ocean Ave # 3, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779, USA, represents an innovative solution in the realm of modern yard and garden care. While not a traditional "garden" in the sense of a botanical display or public park, Yarbo operates within the "Scenic Spot" category by providing advanced technological services that enhance and maintain outdoor environments. It is a company that develops and offers a multi-functional robotic system designed to automate various outdoor tasks, effectively transforming how individuals manage their personal "scenic spots" – their own yards and gardens. Its presence at this address signifies a hub for the distribution and support of this cutting-edge outdoor technology.
The "environment" for Yarbo is primarily the outdoor spaces it is designed to maintain: residential lawns, driveways, and gardens. Yarbo operates in a typical suburban or rural setting where property owners seek automated solutions for their outdoor maintenance needs. The system is designed to navigate and operate in open areas, requiring specific placement guidelines, such as being at least "7 feet from any buildings or other objects" for its GPS data center unit. This spatial requirement means that the operational environment for Yarbo is typically an open yard or driveway, where it has clear access to satellite signals for accurate navigation. The physical location at 1951 Ocean Ave # 3, Ronkonkoma, NY, serves as the commercial base for this technology, from which products are managed and customer support is potentially coordinated. The broader environment for Yarbo is the evolving landscape of smart home and outdoor automation, where increasingly complex tasks are being handled by robotic solutions, allowing homeowners to reclaim time and effort traditionally spent on manual labor.
Yarbo is a sophisticated, multi-functional robotic system that provides several key services for outdoor maintenance. Its core features include:
- Automated Lawn Mowing: The robot is designed to mow lawns, offering a hands-free solution for maintaining turf. This feature eliminates the need for manual mowing, providing convenience and consistent lawn appearance.
- Snow Blowing: Yarbo offers a snowblower accessory, transforming it into an automated snow removal system. This is a significant feature for regions experiencing winter weather, offering a powerful tool to clear driveways and pathways.
- Modular Design: A key feature of Yarbo is its modularity. It is a "multi-purpose robot" that can be equipped with various attachments (modules) for different tasks. This design allows users to switch between functions like mowing and snow blowing, maximizing the robot's utility across seasons.
- GPS-Based Navigation: Yarbo relies on GPS for navigation, creating maps of the areas it needs to process. This allows for precise and efficient operation. While customer feedback highlights "huge connectivity issues" and "dropping GPS signal" requiring resets and map loss, the underlying intent is to provide accurate, automated movement.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity: The system requires internet connectivity for its GPS data center unit, with a hardwired connection recommended for optimal signal. This indicates a reliance on modern networking infrastructure for effective operation.
The "goods for sale" are the Yarbo robot itself and its various interchangeable modules and accessories. The "services" provided are the automated lawn care and snow removal functions that the robot performs. While the concept aims for ease of use, one customer noted a "tremendous amount of set up" and difficulty with assembling modules, particularly the "snowblower accessory." This feedback suggests that while the robotic system offers advanced capabilities, the initial setup and accessory changes may require significant user effort. The company's commitment to "listen, respond, and act on their users feedback" indicates an ongoing development process aimed at improving these aspects.
Customer reviews for Yarbo present a mixed but evolving picture. Some users express significant frustration with "terrible support and huge connectivity issues," particularly regarding GPS signal stability. The need to "reset everything" and lose stored maps due to signal drops is a major pain point. Concerns about the physical setup, especially the weight and difficulty of docking the snowblower accessory, also highlight practical challenges. The placement requirement for the GPS data center unit ("at least 7 feet from any buildings or other objects"), which can be problematic for "regular size driveway," points to design limitations that impact real-world usability. These negative experiences suggest that while the concept is appealing, the current iteration may have significant usability challenges that need to be addressed. The strong suggestion to "not recommend anyone to buy one of these until they get all the bugs worked out" underscores the need for further product refinement.
Conversely, other customers express strong enthusiasm and satisfaction. They note the "astonishing" improvements made over a relatively short period and highlight the "earnestness and devotion of their staff to make this robot the best it could be." The "quality & craftsmanship" of the delivered machine has "exceeded expectations" for some. A key positive aspect highlighted is the company's "willingness to listen, respond, and act on their users feedback," which demonstrates a customer-centric approach to product development. This willingness to engage with user feedback is a strong promotional point, indicating a commitment to continuous improvement. The anticipation for "other modules as they become available" also speaks to the robot's long-term potential and versatility.
For local users in Ronkonkoma and surrounding areas, Yarbo is promoted as a cutting-edge solution for automated yard care. The promotional message focuses on the convenience, efficiency, and future potential of a multi-purpose robot to manage outdoor tasks. While the company's videos make it "look really easy," potential buyers should be aware that initial setup can be complex and that connectivity issues have been reported. The balance between innovative features and current operational challenges is a key consideration. The phone numbers, (631) 818-1850 and +1 631-818-1850, offer direct contact for inquiries, allowing prospective customers to seek clarification on known issues and future updates before making a purchase. Yarbo represents a bold step towards fully automated outdoor maintenance, and its ongoing development aims to refine its capabilities and address user concerns, positioning it as a potentially transformative tool for home "garden" and yard upkeep.

Yarbo Reviews
Terrible support and huge connectivity issues. It’s always dropping GPS signal even if it’s in the middle of an open area. To get the GPS signal back, you have to reset everything which means that you lose the maps that you have stored of your areas to be processed. If they don’t fix the connectivity issues, I would rate it as a piece of junk. Some other information:They make it look really easy in all the videos, but in fact, there’s a tremendous amount of set up. The snowblower accessory in particular is difficult to dock and it weighs over 60 pounds so it’s hard for one person to assemble it or disassemble it if you have to change modules. Also, you need a hardwired connection for this GPS data centre unit, as I said before, although it has excellent signal all the time, the reception at the device itself goes up and down like a toilet seat. I definitely would not recommend anyone to buy one of these until they get all the bugs worked out. I haven’t had the opportunity to try it out as a snowblower yet, but it’s taking me about two weeks to get the things set up and I must say it’s been very frustrating. Also, it tells you you’ve got to place it at least 7 feet from any buildings or other objects. If you have a regular size driveway, this is going to be difficult to do because typically that means placing it in the middle of your driveway where you’re likely to drive over the docking station. This thing really needs some heavy redesign.
Mar 16, 2025 · Callum BarclayI’ve been following this robotic yard care machine for around 2 years. The improvements they’ve made in that relatively short time have been astonishing! I bought in during their 2022 kickstarter campaign and while the delay was disheartening, the wait was well worth it.I understood what this company was trying to accomplish and followed the progress and testing closely during the 2022/23 winter and could see the earnestness and devotion of their staff to make this robot the best it could be. In my understanding of this i would gladly comment on social media to help spread the positive word about this project. The delay was well worth it in my opinion! The machine that was delivered this year has exceeded my expectations in quality & craftsmanship. What I appreciate most about this company is their willingness to listen, respond, and act on their users feedback. It really shows their dedication to this product as well as their customers.I can’t wait for the other modules as they become available for this multi-purpose robot!
Dec 19, 2023 · Steven ThibodeauI was part of the initial Kickstarter campaign and had my doubts about forking over almost $4,000 to an unknown company with big aspirations. Their original timeline may have been doable at one point but they had to make the difficult decision to delay the delivery of everything by 1 full year. They could have delivered on time but their product would have been inferior and they would have ruined their reputation because of that.Fast forward to the fall of 2023 and they had been providing very promising updates on design improvements and shipping preparations. My S1 unit finally arrived in November and it was exactly what they promised it would be. Their support has been second to none and they genuinely want every user to love their product.Make no mistake: there is no other product on the market that can do what the Yarbo S1 can do. This comes with growing pains but Yarbo continues to gain user feedback and improve on their product monthly with firmware and app updates. I haven't had a significant snowfall in New England yet so I haven't been able to fully put it to use but the driveway is mapped and I am ready to go!Keep up the good work Yarbo!
Dec 21, 2023 · Sohrab SimaniYarbo is amazing. I was one of the early 'beta testers' who bought the first generation Snowbot. It.... did not work well. But, they knew it didn't work and told everyone who bought them - 'hey, we have a much better version on the way - you can have it for free'That was completely unexpected. It really showed just how much they care about getting this right. It makes sense in my opinion, because they have a huge head start on this new product category. The level of customer service is frankly startling and unexpected. I was able to video conference with engineers to answer my questions, and they even offered to come to my house (for free) to help me make sure it was all working. It's not that you NEED this level of service - I could get it on my own. It's just that they are updating the software, hardware, docs, and their policies and trying to get everything right the first time.Yarbo does a fully autonomous clear of my driveway (1400 sq ft) and still has battery left over.Highly recommended and excited for the future of this company.
Dec 29, 2023 · Bill PottleOutstanding product and great service. As a long standing customer, Yarbo has a great build quality.Customer Support is outstanding and within 24 hours. If needed the team can do a site visit to check and fix your equipment.Yarbo itself is super powerful. The equipment is heavy but assembly is super easy. Setup takes a little while but if you follow the instruction manual even a 10 year old can assemble.
