Ace Hotel Brooklyn Introduce
Welcome to Ace Hotel Brooklyn, a dynamic and thoughtfully designed hotel that has quickly become a cornerstone of the vibrant Boerum Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. More than just a place to stay, Ace Hotel Brooklyn is a destination in itself, embodying a distinctive blend of art, music, and community that resonates deeply with the borough's creative spirit. It's a place where modern design meets local culture, creating an experience that is both stylish and authentically Brooklyn.
For those living in or visiting the New York City area, Ace Hotel Brooklyn offers a unique alternative to traditional accommodations. It stands as a testament to contemporary hospitality, providing a space that is as much for locals to gather and work as it is for travelers to rest and explore. The hotel’s commitment to fostering a lively atmosphere is evident from the moment you step into its expansive lobby, designed to be a bustling hub of activity.
As one satisfied customer enthusiastically put it, "Very welcoming and accommodating front desk staff. Shout out to Jerry for excellent customer service. In all honesty, interactions with all staff members were great including bartenders, waiters, food servers, and housekeeping. The lobby area has a great vibe for a few drinks and apps. At night it looks like a great area to take someone out for a drink with the dim lighting and dope music playing." This review highlights the exceptional service and engaging atmosphere that Ace Hotel Brooklyn strives to deliver. While some experiences, such as the temporary closure of the restaurant for refurbishment or occasional slow service at the bar, can occur, the hotel's dedication to creating a memorable and welcoming environment generally shines through.
The hotel's design ethos is a key part of its appeal. Rooms are crafted with a keen eye for functional decor and modern aesthetics, offering a comfortable and stylish retreat. As one guest noted, a King bed room offered "Plenty of space for 2 people" and rooms featured "well thought out and functional decor." While some guests might desire more storage for longer stays or find certain in-room amenities like record players to be occasionally non-functional, the overall design contributes to a unique and memorable stay.
The lobby, a focal point of the hotel, transforms throughout the day, serving as a co-working space by day and evolving into a lively social spot with "dim lighting and dope music playing" at night. This adaptability makes it a perfect gathering place for both guests and locals. While it can sometimes be challenging for groups to find seating during peak working hours, the energy and buzz are undeniable, making it a truly dynamic environment. The hotel also strives to offer a comprehensive experience, even when facing temporary service adjustments, like managing drink menu items after busy wedding weekends.

Ace Hotel Brooklyn Reviews
Really welcoming reception team. Sadly, that was about it.Generally disappointing for the price. At the entrance to the hotel seems to be an area where people congregate to smoke weed, so there was always a smell of weed at the entrance - really off putting. I do realise its legal in the US.The bar/lobby area seemed to be more an extension of the work space so was always full of people on laptops and made it impossible for a group of four to find seating whilst also not creating a great atmosphere. Only on our last day (a Saturday) were we able to actually find seating together. The restaurant was closed for refurbishment and we had not been aware of this prior to arrival.Service in the coffee bar and lobby bar was slow/non existent and not very friendly.A kettle but no tea or coffee in the rooms was a shame when paying this much. The room offered very little storage, which for a five night stay meant we couldn't unpack. The record player in the room didn't work. The bar prices were high and the bar wasn't a place you would want to eat - made the restaurant being closed a real shame. For the first couple of days they didn't have drink menu items due to there having been multiple weddings at the weekend.
Apr 14, 2025 · Daniel BarrowVery welcoming and accomodating front desk staff. Shout out to Jerry for excellent customer service. In all honesty, interations with all staff members were great including bartenders, waiters, food servers, and housekeeping. The lobby area has a great vibe for a few drinks and apps. At night it looks like a great area to take someone out for a drink with the dim lighting and dope music playing. I stayed in a room with a king bed. Plenty of space for 2 people. My only complaint is the gym. It needs some TLC. The leg extension isn't adjustable and there's attachments for a cable machine but no cable machine. That's the only reason I can't give 5 stars. Otherwise great location in Brooklyn, top notch service and staff, and rooms had well thought out and functional decor. Definitely would stay again!
Jun 01, 2025 · NicAce Hotel BrooklynHotel Management252 Schermerhorn StreetBrooklyn, NY 11217Dear Management,I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude for your hotel's exceptional hospitality and service during my recent stay. The attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction truly made my experience memorable. From the moment I arrived on Friday February 28, 2025, Jesus Nunez and the staff at Ace Brooklyn Hotel ensured a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The comfortable accommodations, delicious dining options, and impeccable housekeeping services exceeded my expectations. I was particularly impressed with how smoothly everything was organized and the friendly demeanor of your team members.Once again, thank you for providing such a delightful stay. Mar 05, 2025 · Margaret BrownWe stayed at the Ace in Brooklyn this past weekend. Our stay was great. It's a busy hotel on the weekend. Lots of excitement in the way of music on the weekends. The room was fine. For the price I expected it not to be as worn, water marks on the desk, chipped wood, coffee maker and no coffee and the windows were filthy which probably couldn't be prevented due to the pollen. BUT I must say Jerry at the front desk was a Prince. He was personable, helpful and made no promises but did everything he could to make our stay excellent. I would def stay there again. Maybe not on the weekend during wedding season.
Apr 29, 2025 · Susan A.Wish I'd read the reviews before booking my stay - I won't repeat everyone else other than to say the 2 & 3 star reviews are all accurate representations of the hotel. Your nightly rate goes to support a public co-working space; the bar is lackluster; the room service is lackluster; the service was hipster friendly, but in no way luxury hotel elevated. Rooms have almost no storage, no coffee, lukewarm shower water. The room itself was nice, and the lobby decor is warm and substantial. With barebones room service, the attached bagel shop was a plus. Nothing about the stay was bad per se, it just wasn't good, so I won't be back.
