As a municipal park primarily serving the residents of the Town of Greenburgh, Anthony F. Veteran Park operates on a membership and daily fee basis for certain facilities, rather than offering traditional commercial "promotions" or "special offers." The "offers" are structured around resident access and the value of its extensive amenities.
- Resident-Exclusive Pool and Tennis Access: The primary "offer" is privileged access to its high-quality pools and racquet sports facilities (tennis, pickleball, platform tennis) for residents of the Town of Greenburgh. Access to the pools is specifically for members, often requiring a Town Unicard and a seasonal permit or daily admission fee. This ensures that the facilities are well-maintained and not overcrowded.
- Tiered Membership/Daily Fees: The park offers varying fee structures for different age groups (Adult, Youth, Senior) for both seasonal permits and daily admission. This allows for flexible access based on individual needs and frequency of visits. For example, daily fees for pool access are structured, and youth (2-17 years) and seniors (60+) typically have lower rates than adults. Children under 2 years old are often admitted free to the pool.
- Racquet/Paddle Membership: The introduction of a Resident Seasonal Racquet/Paddle Membership provides an "offer" of bundled access to tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball courts at both Anthony F. Veteran Park and East Rumbrook Park, offering comprehensive value for racquet sport enthusiasts. Family, Adult, Senior, and Youth rates are available for this.
- Senior Programs and Discounts: The Gerard J. Byrne Center at Anthony F. Veteran Park offers a range of senior activities, and seniors (60+) often benefit from reduced daily admission fees for the pool and racquet sports, making recreation more affordable for this demographic.
- Community-Organized Events: While not a direct promotion from the park itself, the Greenburgh Parks & Recreation Department and various community groups frequently host free or low-cost events within the park, such as the Annual Greenburgh Senior Picnic, offering valuable opportunities for residents to engage without significant expense.
To fully understand the fee structures and to take advantage of resident benefits, it is crucial for interested locals to visit the official Town of Greenburgh Parks & Recreation website or contact their registration office directly. They require residents to present a Town Unicard to qualify for resident rates and seasonal permits.

Jun 22, 2024 · Raul MelendezThis place is great to have family time.
Jul 27, 2024 · among us GamerTook my grandson to first swim lesson. The complex is wonderful. Miss Sarah was instructing class. Very positive experience for me and him. The water temp was "refreshing". The place was fairly busy. I assume it will get busier in the afternoon. Lots of shade. Trees and lawn fairly close to the pool. Umbrellas or canopies were plentiful. My first time there. There was more to explore. Well maintained. Lots of lifeguards. Seemed like there was lots of rotation as there were guards walking the deck. Very friendly and helpful. Parking was good too.
Jul 09, 2022 · Chuck KirschkeI live in Edgemont. I was expecting for the taxes I pay, the pool area would've been better. I would NEVER come back here in my life. The workers are all teenagers who do not care about anyone. They're taking selfies. Playing and laughing. Very rude. Just build a pool in your house, you're better off. Bugs are everywhere. It's a far walk to the pools. Not worth it.
