Armoni Inn and Suites is conveniently situated at 329 NY-303, Orangeburg, NY 10962, USA. This address places it directly on New York State Route 303, a significant north-south highway in Rockland County. For those traveling by car, this location offers straightforward access from various points within Rockland County and the greater New York metropolitan area. Route 303 connects to major arteries like the Palisades Interstate Parkway and the New York State Thruway (I-87/I-287), making it relatively easy to reach from New York City, upstate New York, and neighboring New Jersey.
The setting in Orangeburg offers a suburban experience within the New York region, distinct from the urban density of Manhattan but still well-connected. This suggests a capacity to respond to immediate guest needs, even if initial interactions at the front desk may vary.
Security Deposit Requirement: Guests should be aware that a deposit for the room is required upon check-in, as highlighted by a customer from Florida who was not accustomed to this practice in their home state but acknowledged it as a New York practice. This is a standard procedure at many hotels to cover potential damages or incidental charges.

Understanding these highlights, both positive and challenging, can help set realistic expectations for visitors to Orangeburg, NY.

Practical Location: Situated directly on NY-303, the hotel offers easy vehicular access. For travelers who prioritize convenience to major roadways in Rockland County, this location is a practical feature, especially for those with their own transport.

Areas for Improvement (as reported by customers): It is crucial to acknowledge significant feedback regarding cleanliness and atmosphere. Customers reported:
- Lack of Cleanliness: Issues mentioned include "leftover nail of someone and Q-tips" on a chair, "dusty and dirty pillow cases as well as curtains," and "trash in the hallways." This indicates a need for more rigorous housekeeping standards.
- Creepy/Forgotten Atmosphere: One guest described the atmosphere as "creepy" and "seemed like a forgotten place," suggesting a lack of upkeep or welcoming ambiance.
- Customer Service Challenges: Beyond cleanliness, comments about the front desk receptionist being "not pleasant" and speaking "directly and no emotions" suggest a need for improved guest relations training to ensure a warmer welcome.
- Unavailable Amenities: The explicit mention that "no pool no microwave in room" was available, despite a customer expecting them, highlights that guests should confirm specific amenity availability before booking to avoid disappointment.
These features, particularly the reported challenges, highlight areas where the hotel could focus on improving the guest experience to better align with typical expectations for lodging in the New York region.

For locals in the New York region, specifically those in or visiting Rockland County, understanding the suitability of Armoni Inn and Suites requires a balanced perspective, acknowledging both its practical advantages and areas highlighted in customer feedback. Its suitability largely depends on the specific needs and expectations of the local user.
Firstly, its strategic location on NY-303 in Orangeburg makes it quite suitable for those traveling by car. For New Yorkers who need convenient access to major roadways for business meetings in Rockland County, visiting family in the area, or as a base for exploring the Hudson Valley by vehicle, the hotel's accessibility is a significant advantage. It offers a practical alternative to more expensive or distant accommodations within the broader New York metropolitan area.
Secondly, while certain amenities like a pool may not be available, the presence of in-room refrigerators and coffee makers provides basic but valuable conveniences for local guests. These features allow for storing personal items and preparing simple beverages, which can be a plus for extended stays or for those wishing to manage their own snacks and drinks. The reported willingness of staff to provide requested items also indicates a potential for helpful service when direct needs are communicated.
However, it's crucial for local users to set realistic expectations based on the candid customer reviews. The feedback regarding cleanliness issues, a perceived "creepy atmosphere," and initial unwelcoming front desk interactions suggests that the hotel may be best suited for those seeking a highly functional, no-frills stay where primary focus is on a bed for the night and direct road access, rather than a luxurious or highly service-oriented experience. Local guests accustomed to the high standards of hospitality often found in other parts of New York City or more upscale suburban hotels should temper their expectations.
In conclusion, Armoni Inn and Suites could be suitable for New York locals who prioritize an accessible Orangeburg location, require basic in-room amenities like a fridge and coffee maker, and are comfortable with a more utilitarian lodging experience. It serves as a practical option for very specific needs, particularly when budget and location accessibility via car are paramount. For those seeking a comfortable, clean, and welcoming overnight stay, direct communication with the hotel before booking to confirm current conditions and available amenities would be highly advisable to ensure suitability for their individual preferences.

Armoni Inn and Suites Reviews
So nothing was available like no pool no microwave in room but I got a frig and a coffee maker. Room was decent until I sat down on the chair which wasn't clean a leftover nail of someone and Q-tips. The staff was very friendly and also nice what ever I needed they did provide. I did my booking online and what was not told was money that needed to be deposited for room ...I'm from Florida a deposit is not needed there but I get it we in New York . Front desk receptionist was not pleasant spoke directly and no emotions behind anything asked. You know sometimes a smile and a warm welcome does go along way. But when your not home and in another state friendless isn't a thing here.
Apr 11, 2025 · Jasminda perezABSOLUTELY AWEFUL!!!! DO NOT STAY THEREHad to switch rooms hoping the second would not have a random guy‘s pants on the chair, dusty and dirty pillow cases as well as curtains. Not sure when they opened the window the last time, we had to buy and extra air purifier… Service was aweful, creepy atmosphere and seemed like a forgotten place. Trash in the hallways and the receptionist didn’t seem to care why we were so upset.
May 24, 2025 · Hanna JungDO NOT STAY HERE! I have no idea how this place is even allowed to run to be quite frank. The staff is insanely rude and the place smelled so bad. There were so many stains on the carpet and the bathrooms were not cleaned whatsoever. There were dead bugs everywhere too. Would not be surprised if there were bed bugs. I would honestly rather sleep in my car than this disgusting hotel.
Apr 08, 2025 · Kevin ParksThe service is not great at all. It’s dirty, when I asked for new sheets they brought me a sheet that supposedly clean but it was sticky with hair. One morning I woke up with two roaches next to my head on the nightstand. The bathtub was not clean, I took a shower with my flip flops on. The carpets look disgusting and so do the sofas in the room. There’s no phones in the room. If you need something you have to call from your personal phone or walk all the way back to the lobby. But whatever you do ask for, don’t hold your breath because you have to keep reminding them. I asked one of the cleaning ladies for clean towels, she told me there was none and for me to go find some myself in the laundry room. There’s one singular old microwave in the lobby for everyone to use. There’s almost never anyone at the desk, people can just go in and out as they please. I would not come back.
Feb 19, 2025 · geraldmay louis jeanWARNING!!! Do NOT stay here before reading the reviews! FALSE ADVERTISING!! This place is scammy. It seems unsafe and you won’t get a minute of rest if you stay next to the teens who hold parties in the hallway till dawn. There is no security on premises so there is no one to enforce the noise policy with these kids who make threats to you if you ask them to keep it down. They do not respect the front desk’s request to stay in their rooms. First floor is very noisy. If you bring children here ask for second floor. There is no lock on the back entry door so anyone can crawl in. Rooms seem to be in deplorable condition but fairly clean and clean sheets. Nonetheless the place should be condemned. I was surprised my complaint was handled in a professional way and a prompt refund issued the next business day, as I left at 3am.
