Great park for bird watching, many woodpeckers can be seen/heard during late winter/early springtime in the mornings. It's a park that is fairly undisturbed from humans save for the trail and story walk posts. I Discovered deer tracks and what I believe to be coyote tracks (I don't think wolves are in this part of NY) but they could just be dog tracks. I say Coyote because not far from where I encountered them was fresh deer carcass. Maybe keep a look out with small children/pets. - Rizwan Munir
