Cabana Hotel Bronx Introduce
The Cabana Hotel Bronx, located at 1300 Sedgwick Ave, Bronx, NY 10452, USA, presents itself as a lodging option in the Bronx area. While the platform category provided is "Scenic Spot," it is important to clarify that based on available information, the Cabana Hotel Bronx primarily functions as a hotel or motel, and its designation as a "Scenic Spot" in a traditional sense (e.g., a park, viewpoint, or natural attraction) is not supported by public reviews or general understanding of the property. Therefore, this introduction will objectively describe the establishment based on its primary function as a hotel/motel and the specific customer feedback provided, aligning with its role in offering temporary accommodation rather than a scenic leisure experience. The hotel's phone numbers are (718) 293-1100 and +1 718-293-1100.
The environment of the Cabana Hotel Bronx, based on customer reviews, suggests a focus on providing basic, short-term accommodation. The reviews frequently mention issues that paint a picture of an environment that prioritizes quick turnovers over long-term guest comfort or aesthetic appeal. For instance, comments about "wet" room floors, non-functional air conditioning, and rooms being "tinier than what it looks like" suggest a basic, no-frills setting. The description of a room "OUTSIDE. In the parking lot, with a smaller bed," implies that the hotel utilizes various types of units, some of which may be less conventional than typical hotel rooms. The presence of a "parking garage only fits 14 cars" indicates limited on-site parking, which is a practical consideration for guests arriving by vehicle in a dense urban area. The mention of "junkies and Prostitutes there" in the parking garage points to concerns regarding the immediate surroundings and the general atmosphere perceived by some guests. This feedback collectively portrays an environment that is primarily functional for a quick stop rather than designed for extended stays or leisure, and may not align with expectations for cleanliness or comfort typically associated with standard hotel accommodations.
Regarding services and features, the Cabana Hotel Bronx, as described by customer feedback, appears to operate with a model geared towards short-term or hourly stays, with a clear emphasis on "profit not customers." This is explicitly stated in one review, mentioning "they gave me the 3 hour stay room" and "this facility is only aim at short stays with sole objective of profit not customers." Key services typically expected in a hotel, such as breakfast, are explicitly noted as absent ("No breakfast"). The management's response to issues, such as advising a guest to "wait 10 minutes before it cools" when the air conditioning didn't work, and subsequently offering a "room OUTSIDE... with a smaller bed" instead of a better one, indicates a service approach that may not prioritize guest satisfaction or problem resolution in a conventional manner. Room features, or lack thereof, are highlighted by issues like a "bathroom didn’t have a water stopper." The shared "one microwave that everybody has to share sitting out in the hallway" points to minimal common area amenities and a focus on essential, rather than extensive, provisions. The general cleanliness is a recurring concern, with comments such as "They do not do a very good job cleaning. There was still stuff all over the floor some girls hair all over the bathroom." This suggests that housekeeping standards may not consistently meet typical guest expectations. The operational model leans more towards that of a motel, with hourly rentals being a significant aspect of its business.
As a "Scenic Spot" platform category, the Cabana Hotel Bronx does not align with the traditional definition of a scenic attraction providing goods or services related to natural beauty or leisure experiences. However, if one were to interpret "services or goods for sale" broadly in the context of a hotel, the "service" offered is temporary accommodation for a fee. The "goods" would be the rooms themselves. Given the consistent negative feedback regarding cleanliness, functionality of amenities, and customer service, the "quality" of these goods and services, as perceived by customers, appears to be significantly low. The hotel's operational model, focusing on short-term rentals, positions it differently from hotels that cater to tourists or business travelers seeking a comfortable, well-serviced stay. The lack of breakfast, the condition of the rooms, and the reported experiences with staff all point to a basic, budget-oriented establishment where the primary "good" is simply a room for a few hours or a night, without the additional comforts or service quality typically associated with a "hotel." The online pictures are described as "look way better online," indicating a potential discrepancy between marketing and reality regarding the visual appeal and size of the rooms. The public-facing information and reviews do not suggest any unique scenic features or experiences directly associated with the hotel itself that would typically classify it as a "Scenic Spot." Its location in the Bronx might offer proximity to certain urban views, but the hotel itself is not highlighted as a point of scenic interest.
Promotional information, based solely on the provided customer reviews, implicitly suggests that the hotel might promote itself with online images that present a more favorable impression than the reality experienced by guests ("Pictures look way better online"). The core "promotional" aspect, from the hotel's perspective, appears to be its ability to provide quick, accessible, and potentially discreet short-term accommodation, likely at a budget price point, appealing to a specific niche market that prioritizes these aspects over extensive services, comfort, or luxury. However, from a customer's perspective, the promotional information would likely focus on the negative experiences reported, such as the "dirty" rooms, "worst possible" service, non-working air conditioning, and issues with bed sizes. The explicit warning, "I would never stay here again," serves as a strong deterrent. The characterization of it as "more like a motel, not a hotel" also provides a crucial distinction, informing potential guests about the type of establishment they can expect. The phone numbers, (718) 293-1100 and +1 718-293-1100, would be the direct contact points for inquiries, but based on the reviews, the nature of interactions once a guest is on-site might be challenging. Given the overwhelmingly negative and detailed feedback regarding the state of the rooms, the service, and the general environment, any promotional efforts by the hotel would likely be overshadowed by these public sentiments. The hotel's strategy seems to be centered on a high-volume, low-cost model, rather than building a reputation for guest satisfaction or amenities suitable for extended stays or leisure travel.

Cabana Hotel Bronx Reviews
This place was dirty. The service was the worst possible. The room floor was wet. The air-conditioning didn’t work. I paid for a king size bed and they gave me a queen size bed. Then when I told them the air conditioner didn’t work. They said to wait 10 minutes before it cools. I waited 20 minutes, the same result. Instead of giving me a better room, he gave me a room OUTSIDE. In the parking lot, with a smaller bed.The bathroom didn’t have a water stopper. They gave me the 3 hour stay room. The service was very bad. I would never stay here again. No breakfast, this facility is only aim at short stays with sole objective of profit not customers.
